Dans un certain nombre de ces applications qui utilisent des MOSFET \u00e0 tension moyenne, utilis\u00e9s dans divers circuits, les fabricants exigent des pertes de puissance encore moindres. Cependant, les MOSFET g\u00e9n\u00e9raux se caract\u00e9risent par deux param\u00e8tres principaux entra\u00eenant des pertes de puissance : la r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tat passant (R<sub>DS(on)<\/sub>), qui est inversement proportionnelle \u00e0 la taille de la puce, et la charge de drain de grille (Qgd) qui augmente proportionnellement avec la taille de la puce, ce qui rend difficile l\u2019obtention des deux. ROHM a am\u00e9lior\u00e9 le compromis entre les deux en adoptant des connexions \u00e0 clips en cuivre et en am\u00e9liorant la structure de la grille.<br \/>\nLes nouveaux MOSFET atteignent un R<sub>DS(on)<\/sub>\u00a0de 2,1 m\u03a9 \u00e0 la pointe de l\u2019industrie, soit environ 50 % de moins que les \u00e9l\u00e9ments conventionnels, en augmentant les performances de l\u2019appareil et en adoptant le bo\u00eetier HSOP8\/HSMT8 dot\u00e9 de connexions \u00e0 clips en cuivre \u00e0 faible r\u00e9sistance. De plus, l\u2019am\u00e9lioration de la structure de la grille des \u00e9l\u00e9ments r\u00e9duit le Qgd, qui est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement dans une relation de compromis avec R<sub>DS(on)<\/sub>, d\u2019environ 40 % par rapport aux produits conventionnels\u00a0(en comparant les valeurs typiques pour R<sub>DS(on)<\/sub>\u00a0et Qgd pour les produits de bo\u00eetiers HSOP8 60 V). Ces am\u00e9liorations r\u00e9duisent \u00e0 la fois les pertes de commutation et de conduction, contribuant ainsi grandement \u00e0 une plus grande efficacit\u00e9 des applications. Par exemple, lorsque l\u2019on compare l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 d\u2019une carte d\u2019\u00e9valuation de l\u2019alimentation \u00e9lectrique pour des \u00e9quipements industriels, les nouveaux produits de ROHM atteignent un rendement d\u2019environ 95 % (cr\u00eate) \u00e0 la pointe de l\u2019industrie dans la plage de courant de sortie en r\u00e9gime
