{"id":42436,"date":"2020-10-19T16:25:45","date_gmt":"2020-10-19T16:25:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/\/risc-v-va-simposer-dans-lia-edge-selon-le-responsable-ia-de-facebook\/"},"modified":"2020-10-19T16:25:45","modified_gmt":"2020-10-19T16:25:45","slug":"risc-v-va-simposer-dans-lia-edge-selon-le-responsable-ia-de-facebook","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ecinews.fr\/fr\/risc-v-va-simposer-dans-lia-edge-selon-le-responsable-ia-de-facebook\/","title":{"rendered":"RISC-V va s&rsquo;imposer dans l&rsquo;IA edge selon le responsable IA de Facebook"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!-- Global site tag (gtag.js) - Google Analytics --><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0 window.dataLayer = window.dataLayer || [];<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0 function gtag(){dataLayer.push(arguments);}<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0 gtag(&lsquo;js&rsquo;, new Date());\u00a0 gtag(&lsquo;config&rsquo;, &lsquo;UA-160857065-1&rsquo;);<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">Le passage \u00e0 RISC-V pour faire fonctionner des r\u00e9seaux de neurones pour les applications d&rsquo;IA edge s&rsquo;est acc\u00e9l\u00e9r\u00e9 suite au projet de rachat d&rsquo;ARM par Nvidia, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Yann LeCun, scientifique en chef de l&rsquo;IA chez Facebook lors de la journ\u00e9e de l&rsquo;innovation du laboratoire de recherche fran\u00e7ais CEA-Leti.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">\u00abIl y a un changement dans l&rsquo;industrie et ARM d\u00e9pendant de Nvidia met les gens mal \u00e0 l&rsquo;aise, mais&nbsp; gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9mergence de RISC-V on voit des puces avec un c\u0153ur RISC-V et une NPU (unit\u00e9 de traitement neuronal)\u00bb, a-t-il d\u00e9clar\u00e9. \u00ab\u00a0Celles-ci sont incroyablement bon march\u00e9, moins de 10 dollars, dont beaucoup viennent de Chine, et elles deviendront omnipr\u00e9sentes\u00a0\u00bb, a-t-il d\u00e9clar\u00e9. \u00ab\u00a0Je me demande si RISC-V va conqu\u00e9rir le monde l\u00e0-bas.\u00a0\u00bb<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">Il rejette un programme majeur du Leti travaillant sur les r\u00e9seaux de neurones \u00e0 impulsions et les approches analogiques telles que la RAM r\u00e9sistive (RRAM), mais cela pouvait \u00eatre attendu de l&rsquo;inventeur du r\u00e9seau de neurones convolutifs (CNN) et laur\u00e9at du prix Turing pour l&rsquo;IA en 2018.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">\u00abLe principal probl\u00e8me auquel sont confront\u00e9es les impl\u00e9mentations analogiques est qu&rsquo;il est tr\u00e8s difficile d&rsquo;utiliser le multiplexage mat\u00e9riel avec des r\u00e9seaux neuronaux analogiques\u00bb, a-t-il d\u00e9clar\u00e9. \u00abLorsque vous effectuez une convolution et r\u00e9utilisez le mat\u00e9riel, vous devez effectuer un multiplexage mat\u00e9riel et vous devez donc avoir un moyen de stocker les r\u00e9sultats, puis vous avez besoin de m\u00e9moire analogique ou de convertisseurs ADC et DAC et cela tue toute l&rsquo;id\u00e9e. Donc, \u00e0 moins que nous ayons une m\u00e9moire analogique basse consommation bon march\u00e9 cela ne fonctionnera pas \u00bb, a-t-il d\u00e9clar\u00e9. \u00abJe suis dubitatif, ce seront peut-\u00eatre des r\u00e9seaux de memristors ou de la spintronique, mais je suis quelque peu sceptique.\u00bb<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eenewseurope.com\/news\/brain-simulator-ai-platform-processes-3-billion-synapsess\">BRAIN SIMULATOR AI PLATFORM PROCESSES 3 BILLION SYNAPSES\/S<\/a><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">\u00abL&rsquo;IA edge est certainement un sujet tr\u00e8s important\u00bb, a-t-il d\u00e9clar\u00e9. \u00abDans les deux ou trois prochaines ann\u00e9es, il ne s&rsquo;agira pas de technologies exotiques, il s&rsquo;agit de r\u00e9duire au maximum la consommation d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie, d&rsquo;\u00e9laguer le r\u00e9seau neuronal, d&rsquo;optimiser les poids, de fermer les parties du syst\u00e8me qui ne sont pas utilis\u00e9es\u00bb, \u00ab\u00a0La cible ce sont les appareils AR avec puces dans les deux \u00e0 trois prochaines ann\u00e9es avec des appareils dans les cinq ans \u00ab\u00a0, a-t-il dit.<\/span><br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">\u00e0 suivre: Plateforme technologique paneurop\u00e9enne d&rsquo;IA edge<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">\u00abDans les dix ans, y aura-t-il une perc\u00e9e dans la spintronique ou quoi que ce soit qui permettra le calcul analogique sans multiplexage mat\u00e9riel?\u00bb Il a demand\u00e9. \u00abPouvons-nous proposer quelque chose de ce genre qui r\u00e9duira autant la taille de l\u2019\u00e9quipement sur une seule puce sans brassage des donn\u00e9es et sans multiplexage mat\u00e9riel, c\u2019est un grand d\u00e9fi\u00bb, a-t-il d\u00e9clar\u00e9.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">\u00abLes entreprises d\u00e9veloppent la technologie 1nm et 2nm pour la prochaine g\u00e9n\u00e9ration de puces et je crois fermement que nous pouvons faire les choses diff\u00e9remment, avec les capteurs, le r\u00e9seau de neurones et le contr\u00f4leur pour l&rsquo;avenir du mat\u00e9riel\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Emmanual Sabonnadiere, PDG de Leti. \u00abNous essayons d&rsquo;avoir des plans nationaux et d&rsquo;avoir une part de science dans les d\u00e9cisions politiques. d&rsquo;int\u00e9grer tous les diff\u00e9rents \u00e9l\u00e9ments sans avoir \u00e0 utiliser la lithographie UV extr\u00eame requise \u00e0 5 nm et moins.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abNous voulons avoir la performance ultime de 1000 TOPS \/ mW, ce qui est un tr\u00e8s gros d\u00e9fi et comment travailler avec les m\u00e9moires, les diff\u00e9rentes technologies et comment vous int\u00e9grez cela sans
