L&rsquo;appareil comprend \u00e9galement un r\u00e9cepteur GPS. L&rsquo;appareil install\u00e9 dans la voiture transmet \u00e0 une unit\u00e9 de bord de route (RSU) des donn\u00e9es relatives \u00e0 la position et aux capteurs, telles que la vitesse, l&rsquo;acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration ou les conditions de d\u00e9rapage. \u00c0 son tour, l&rsquo;unit\u00e9 embarqu\u00e9e re\u00e7oit des donn\u00e9es actualis\u00e9es sur l&rsquo;\u00e9tat de la route, les accidents connus, les embouteillages ou les recommandations de vitesse pour une circulation optimale. <\/p>\n<p>Le syst\u00e8me distingue trois types de messages : Premi\u00e8rement, des t\u00e9l\u00e9grammes p\u00e9riodiques standardis\u00e9s transmis jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 dix fois par seconde \u00e0 la RSU ainsi qu&rsquo;aux autres voitures. Ces messages concernent la position, la direction de conduite et la vitesse. Les unit\u00e9s routi\u00e8res traitent ces donn\u00e9es et g\u00e9n\u00e8rent une image globale de la situation actuelle du trafic. <\/p>\n<p>Le deuxi\u00e8me type de message contient des informations sur des \u00e9v\u00e9nements tels que des accidents dans lesquels la station \u00e9mettrice est impliqu\u00e9e ou qui ont \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9tect\u00e9s par la RSU si de nombreux v\u00e9hicules effectuent un freinage d&rsquo;urgence en m\u00eame temps. Les embouteillages sont \u00e9galement d\u00e9tect\u00e9s car de nombreuses voitures signalent en m\u00eame temps une vitesse tr\u00e8s faible. Un autre \u00e9v\u00e9nement important dans cette cat\u00e9gorie est l&rsquo;activation de l&rsquo;ESP dans une ou plusieurs voitures : Cela indique que la route est glissante. <\/p>\n<p>La troisi\u00e8me cat\u00e9gorie est celle des messages d&rsquo;application. Ce type d&rsquo;information comprend les signaux des feux de circulation ou les informations sur le trafic en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral. Les RSU peuvent \u00e9galement recevoir et traiter des messages provenant de sources telles que les centres de gestion du trafic. <\/p>\n<p>La configuration du syst\u00e8me C2X est flexible ; en plus de la configuration minimale, des applications suppl\u00e9mentaires et les logiciels correspondants peuvent \u00eatre activ\u00e9s. Les recherches en cours portent d\u00e9sormais sur les moyens de prot\u00e9ger le syst\u00e8me contre les situations de surcharge r\u00e9sultant d&rsquo;\u00e9v\u00e9nements survenant sur de nombreuses voitures en m\u00eame temps. Les experts du Fraunhofer \u00e9tudient actuellement des m\u00e9thodes pour ce qu&rsquo;ils appellent \u00ab\u00a0l&rsquo;agr\u00e9gation de messages sensibles au contexte\u00a0\u00bb.
