Intel s’est donn\u00e9 encore un trimestre pour tenter de boucler son deal d’acquisition de la fonderie sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9e Tower Semiconductor Ltd bas\u00e9e \u00e0 Migdal Haemek en Israel.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n

Intel a annonc\u00e9 un plan de 5,4 milliards de dollars am\u00e9ricains pour acqu\u00e9rir Tower \u00e0 53 dollars par action, \u00e0 la mi-f\u00e9vrier 2022, d\u00e9clarant qu’il pr\u00e9voyait de conclure l’accord dans environ 12 mois, sous r\u00e9serve des approbations r\u00e9glementaires.<\/span><\/span> Ce rachat a \u00e9t\u00e9 largement consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme un bon moyen pour Intel d’absorber le savoir-faire et la culture d’entreprise de la fonderie.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

Cependant, 13 mois plus tard, l’accord semble \u00eatre au point mort.<\/span><\/span> Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 signal\u00e9 que l’Administration d’\u00c9tat chinoise pour la r\u00e9glementation du march\u00e9 (SAMR) avait suspendu l’horloge lors de son examen de la transaction en janvier.<\/span><\/span> Il est rapport\u00e9 qu’Intel et Tower avaient r\u00e9pondu aux questions du r\u00e9gulateur fin janvier.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Alors que nous continuons \u00e0 travailler pour conclure la transaction avec Tower au cours du premier trimestre 2023, la transaction pourrait \u00eatre conclue au cours du premier semestre 2023, sous r\u00e9serve de certaines approbations r\u00e9glementaires et des conditions de cl\u00f4ture habituelles\u00a0\u00bb, aurait d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Intel dans un communiqu\u00e9.<\/span><\/span> Intel a nomm\u00e9 Stuart Pann pour diriger Intel Foundry Services.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
