Europe misent gros sur la croissance des composants de puissance en carbure de silicium (SiC).<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"fr\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">ST Microelectronics pr\u00e9voit de d\u00e9passer 1 milliard de dollars dans son activit\u00e9 SiC cette ann\u00e9e, contre 700 millions de dollars l&rsquo;ann\u00e9e pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">onsemi vise \u00e9galement 1 milliard de dollars cette ann\u00e9e, avec des investissements en R\u00e9publique tch\u00e8que.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Infineon \u00e9tend sa production de SiC en Autriche et \u00e0 Vienne, et Wolfspeed a annonc\u00e9 cette semaine son intention de construire la plus grande usine de SiC au monde en Sarre, en Allemagne.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"fr\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Jean-Mark Chery de ST a \u00e9voqu\u00e9 25 projets de v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques avec huit clients diff\u00e9rents.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">\u00ab\u00a0Dans\u00a0 la technologie SiC, nous avons r\u00e9alis\u00e9 700 millions de dollars de chiffre d&rsquo;affaires en 2022 avec un plan sup\u00e9rieur \u00e0 1 milliard de dollars en 2023\u00a0\u00bb, a-t-il d\u00e9clar\u00e9 lors de la pr\u00e9sentation des r\u00e9sultats cette semaine.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">L&rsquo;entreprise construit une ligne pilote pour les wafers et un frontend de traitement \u00e0 Catane, en Sicile, aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s de la Fab SiC existante.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eenewseurope.com\/en\/st-deal-for-200mm-sic-production\/\">ST deal for 200mm SiC production<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eenewseurope.com\/en\/st-taps-eu-chips-act-for-sic-wafer-plant\/\">ST taps EU Chips Act for SiC wafer plant<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"fr\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">\u00ab\u00a0Nous multiplions par dix la capacit\u00e9 frontale et nous aurons 40 % des substrats de source interne d&rsquo;ici le quatri\u00e8me trimestre 2024, en commen\u00e7ant par des wafers de 150 mm et en passant \u00e0 200 mm\u00a0\u00bb, a-t-il d\u00e9clar\u00e9.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">\u00ab Catane est une \u00e9tape importante et la production en volume devrait commencer au deuxi\u00e8me semestre de cette ann\u00e9e et nous avons produit le premier lingot de 150 mm.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Concernant l&rsquo;initiative du substrat, notre intention \u00e9tait de construire une source strat\u00e9gique pour la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 de la cha\u00eene d&rsquo;approvisionnement \u00bb, a-t-il d\u00e9clar\u00e9.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">\u00ab\u00a0Nous avons vu au cours des deux derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es que des probl\u00e8mes peuvent survenir.\u00a0\u00bb<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"fr\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">\u00ab Le deuxi\u00e8me objectif pour acqu\u00e9rir une capacit\u00e9 interne est la R&amp;D et l&rsquo;efficacit\u00e9.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Nous voulons ne d\u00e9pendre de personne et faire passer notre production \u00e0 200 mm \u00bb, a-t-il d\u00e9clar\u00e9.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"fr\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Tout cela s&rsquo;accompagne d&rsquo;une\u00a0 pr\u00e9visionsde march\u00e9 de 5 milliards de dollars d&rsquo;ici 2027 pour le secteur dominant, l&rsquo;automobile, contre 685 millions de dollars en 2021 selon les analystes europ\u00e9ens Yole Developpement.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"fr\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Avec onsemi visant \u00e9galement un chiffre d&rsquo;affaires de 1 milliard de dollars en SiC en 2023 et disposant d&rsquo;un accord cl\u00e9 avec Volkswagen, la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 multiplie par 16 son usine de substrats \u00e0 Roznov.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eenewseurope.com\/en\/onsemi-signs-vw-in-strategic-sic-deal\/\">onsemi signs VW lang=\"fr\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">L&rsquo;usine de 200 mm de Wolfspeed soutiendra 4 milliards de dollars de production de SiC d&rsquo;ici 2027 en utilisant des tranches produites aux \u00c9tats-Unis avec un investissement important de ZF Friedrichshafen.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"fr\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">L&rsquo;usine construite en Sarre fait partie d&rsquo;un plan d&rsquo;expansion de capacit\u00e9 mondiale de 6,5 milliards de dollars qui comprend \u00e9galement le centre de fabrication John Palmour pour le carbure de silicium, la plus grande installation de croissance de cristaux de carbure de silicium au monde actuellement en construction en Caroline du Nord, et la construction finale de la Fab de Mohawk Valley de l&rsquo;entreprise.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"fr\"> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Cependant, l&rsquo;usine de la Sarre est pr\u00e9vue dans le cadre du projet important d&rsquo;int\u00e9r\u00eat europ\u00e9en commun (PIIEC) pour la micro\u00e9lectronique et les technologies de la communication et d\u00e9pend de l&rsquo;approbation des aides d&rsquo;\u00c9tat par la Commission europ\u00e9enne.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p class=\"title\"><a title=\"Wolfspeed, ZF Microchip a une forte activit\u00e9 SiC dans l&rsquo;a\u00e9rospatial, tandis que Diodes ( qui fait partie de Renesas) a lanc\u00e9 ses premi\u00e8res diodes SiC et se tourne vers les MOSFET alors que
