Et c&rsquo;\u00e9tait super excitant.\u00a0\u00bb<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"fr\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Les portes logiques permettent aux \u00ab\u00a0bits\u00a0\u00bb &#8211; ou chiffres binaires (0 et 1) &#8211; de travailler ensemble pour traiter les informations.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Cependant, un bit quantique (ou qubit) existe dans ces deux \u00e9tats \u00e0 la fois, connu sous le nom de \u00ab\u00a0superposition\u00a0\u00bb, ce qui permet une multitude de strat\u00e9gies de calcul &#8211; certaines exponentiellement plus rapides, d&rsquo;autres simultan\u00e9es &#8211; qui vont bien au-del\u00e0 des ordinateurs classiques.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"fr\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Les qubits eux-m\u00eames sont constitu\u00e9s de \u00ab\u00a0points quantiques\u00a0\u00bb &#8211; de minuscules nanodispositifs qui peuvent pi\u00e9ger un ou quelques \u00e9lectrons.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Un contr\u00f4le pr\u00e9cis des \u00e9lectrons est n\u00e9cessaire pour permettre le calcul quantique.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"fr\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">En exp\u00e9rimentant diff\u00e9rentes combinaisons g\u00e9om\u00e9triques de dispositifs d&rsquo;une taille d&rsquo;\u00e0 peine un milliardi\u00e8me de m\u00e8tre qui contr\u00f4lent les points quantiques, et divers types d&rsquo;aimants et d&rsquo;antennes minuscules qui pilotent leurs op\u00e9rations, les chercheurs sont tomb\u00e9s sur un effet \u00e9trange.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"fr\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">\u00ab\u00a0J&rsquo;essayais de faire fonctionner avec pr\u00e9cision une porte \u00e0 deux qubits\u00a0\u00bb, explique le Dr Tanttu, ing\u00e9nieur chez Diraq, \u00ab\u00a0parcourant de nombreux dispositifs diff\u00e9rents et des g\u00e9om\u00e9tries l\u00e9g\u00e8rement diff\u00e9rentes. Puis ce pic \u00e9trange est apparu. Il semblait que le\u00a0 taux<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">de rotation pour l&rsquo;un des qubits s&rsquo;acc\u00e9l\u00e9rait, ce que je n&rsquo;avais jamais vu auparavant.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"fr\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">\u00ab\u00a0<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Cette d\u00e9couverte, \u00e9tait selon les ing\u00e9nieurs une nouvelle fa\u00e7on de manipuler l&rsquo;\u00e9tat quantique d&rsquo;un seul qubit en utilisant des champs \u00e9lectriques, plut\u00f4t que les champs magn\u00e9tiques utilis\u00e9s auparavant.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Depuis cette d\u00e9couverte en 2020, les chercheurs ont perfectionn\u00e9 la technique &#8211; qui est devenue un autre outil dans leur arsenal pour r\u00e9aliser l&rsquo;ambition de Diraq de construire des milliards de qubits sur une seule puce.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"fr\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">\u00ab\u00a0C&rsquo;est une nouvelle fa\u00e7on de manipuler les qubits\u00a0\u00bb, explique Gilbert, \u00ab\u00a0et c&rsquo;est moins encombrant \u00e0 construire &#8211; vous n&rsquo;avez pas besoin de fabriquer des micro-aimants au cobalt ou une antenne juste \u00e0 c\u00f4t\u00e9 des qubits pour g\u00e9n\u00e9rer l&rsquo;effet de contr\u00f4le. Il y a moins d&rsquo;encombrement<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">.\u00a0\u00bb<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"fr\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Le professeur Andrew Dzurak, PDG et fondateur de Diraq, et professeur d&rsquo;ing\u00e9nierie quantique \u00e0 l&rsquo;UNSW ajoute : \u00ab\u00a0[Cela] s&rsquo;appuie sur notre travail pour faire de l&rsquo;informatique quantique sur silicium une r\u00e9alit\u00e9, bas\u00e9e essentiellement sur la m\u00eame technologie de composants semiconducteurs que les puces informatiques existantes, plut\u00f4t<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">que de s&rsquo;appuyer sur des mat\u00e9riaux exotiques. Puisqu&rsquo;elle est bas\u00e9e sur la m\u00eame technologie CMOS que l&rsquo;industrie informatique actuelle, notre approche facilitera et acc\u00e9l\u00e9rera la mise \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9chelle
