Lors de l&rsquo;ex\u00e9cution de TE, le GPU compare le tampon d&rsquo;image actuel avec l&rsquo;image pr\u00e9c\u00e9demment rendue et effectue une mise \u00e0 jour partielle uniquement sur les parties particuli\u00e8res de celle-ci qui ont \u00e9t\u00e9 modifi\u00e9es, r\u00e9duisant ainsi consid\u00e9rablement la quantit\u00e9 de donn\u00e9es qui doivent \u00eatre transmises par image \u00e0 la m\u00e9moire externe. . La comparaison est effectu\u00e9e sur une base par vignette, \u00e0 l&rsquo;aide d&rsquo;une signature de contr\u00f4le de redondance cyclique (CRC) pour d\u00e9terminer si la vignette a \u00e9t\u00e9 modifi\u00e9e.
