Une phase initiale de d\u00e9veloppement de 3 ans a \u00e9t\u00e9 n\u00e9cessaire pour valider les mat\u00e9riaux et proc\u00e9d\u00e9s. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p><strong>Proc\u00e9d\u00e9s actuels<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Les proc\u00e9d\u00e9s conventionnels (R2R etc.) permettent de r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 la demande de l\u2019\u00e9lectronique imprim\u00e9e par leur capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 adresser des volumes de production importants mais ils se limitent \u00e0 de l\u2019impression sur support plan. Les proc\u00e9d\u00e9s bas\u00e9s sur la structuration laser ou le surmoulage ont plus r\u00e9cemment permis de produire des pi\u00e8ces 3D l\u00e9g\u00e8res int\u00e9grant des fonctions \u00e9lectroniques. N\u00e9anmoins, ils ne sont pas adapt\u00e9s \u00e0 tous les substrats et peuvent conduire \u00e0 l\u2019utilisation d\u2019\u00e9l\u00e9ments tels que le palladium dont l\u2019impact environnemental n\u2019est pas en phase avec les objectifs de d\u00e9veloppement durable.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Impression sur objet 3D<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Julien Munoz<\/strong> explique : \u00ab\u00a0Les travaux que nous avons men\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019IRT Saint Exup\u00e9ry de Toulouse, permettent \u00e0 ce jour d\u2019atteindre sur des objets 3D des r\u00e9solutions allant de 150\u00b5m \u00e0 plusieurs millim\u00e8tres et des \u00e9paisseurs d\u00e9posables de 50\u00b5m \u00e0 500\u00b5m, sans d\u00e9gradation des performances \u00e9lectriques (r\u00e9sistivit\u00e9 ~ 5\u00b5ohm.cm). Un \u00e9quipement d\u2019aerosoljet est en cours d\u2019acquisition et viendra compl\u00e9ter les capacit\u00e9s d\u2019impressions &#8211; R\u00e9solutions et \u00e9paisseurs d\u00e9posables inferieures.\u00a0\u00bb pour continuer\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0Afin d\u2019atteindre l\u2019objectif\u00a0d&rsquo;imprimer sur des pi\u00e8ces de forme complexe et une large gamme de mat\u00e9riaux dont ceux sensibles \u00e0 la temp\u00e9rature (polym\u00e8res, composites), plusieurs volets ont \u00e9t\u00e9 adress\u00e9s. Pour suivre le profil 3D des pi\u00e8ces, les proc\u00e9d\u00e9s utilis\u00e9s ont \u00e9t\u00e9 int\u00e9gr\u00e9s sur robots 6 axes. Un scan 3D pr\u00e9alable de l\u2019objet puis des traitements algorithmiques permettent\u00a0le pilotage de la t\u00eate d&rsquo;impression &#8211; vitesse et position relatives au substrat.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Pour les encres conductrices n\u00e9cessitant un recuit (frittage), des moyens alternatifs \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tuvage ont \u00e9t\u00e9 optimis\u00e9s. Dans ce cas, le frittage par infrarouge ou par effet joule par injection de courant dans la piste permettent de localiser l\u2019\u00e9chauffement et ouvrent la possibilit\u00e9 de traiter des pi\u00e8ces en ligne.<\/p>\n<p>Les applications principales vis\u00e9es par ces d\u00e9veloppements concernent l\u2019impression de pistes pour le transfert de donn\u00e9es, des fonctions radiofr\u00e9quence (filtres, antennes) et des capteurs (analyse de sant\u00e9 mati\u00e8re).<\/p>\n<p>Ces travaux sont men\u00e9s en partenariat avec un \u00e9cosyst\u00e8me d\u2019industriels des secteurs a\u00e9ronautique, automobile et ferroviaire.
