Actuellement, les voitures mettent environ 10 heures pour se recharger compl\u00e8tement \u00e0 la maison, tandis que m\u00eame les superchargeurs les plus rapides des bornes de recharge n\u00e9cessitent jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 20 \u00e0 40 minutes pour recharger compl\u00e8tement les v\u00e9hicules. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"VIiyi\" lang=\"fr\"><span class=\"JLqJ4b\" data-language-for-alternatives=\"fr\" data-language-to-translate-into=\"en\" data-phrase-index=\"0\" data-number-of-phrases=\"1\">Pour r\u00e9soudre ce probl\u00e8me, les chercheurs ont cherch\u00e9 des r\u00e9ponses dans le domaine de la physique quantique. Leur recherche a conduit \u00e0 la d\u00e9couverte que les technologies quantiques pourraient promettre de nouveaux m\u00e9canismes pour charger les batteries \u00e0 un rythme beaucoup plus rapide. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"VIiyi\" lang=\"fr\"><span class=\"JLqJ4b\" data-language-for-alternatives=\"fr\" data-language-to-translate-into=\"en\" data-phrase-index=\"0\" data-number-of-phrases=\"1\">Le concept de \u00ab\u00a0batterie quantique\u00a0\u00bb a \u00e9t\u00e9 propos\u00e9 pour la premi\u00e8re fois en 2012, o\u00f9 il a \u00e9t\u00e9 th\u00e9oris\u00e9 que les ressources quantiques, telles que l&rsquo;intrication, peuvent \u00eatre utilis\u00e9es pour acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer consid\u00e9rablement le processus de charge de la batterie en chargeant toutes les cellules de la batterie simultan\u00e9ment de mani\u00e8re collective. L&rsquo;avantage de cette charge collective par rapport \u00e0 la charge parall\u00e8le peut \u00eatre mesur\u00e9 par le rapport appel\u00e9 \u00ab\u00a0avantage de charge quantique\u00a0\u00bb.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"VIiyi\" lang=\"fr\"><span class=\"JLqJ4b\" data-language-for-alternatives=\"fr\" data-language-to-translate-into=\"en\" data-phrase-index=\"0\" data-number-of-phrases=\"1\">Plus tard, vers 2017, on a remarqu\u00e9 qu&rsquo;il pouvait y avoir deux sources possibles derri\u00e8re cet avantage quantique : \u00e0 savoir le \u00ab fonctionnement global \u00bb (dans lequel toutes les cellules parlent \u00e0 toutes les autres simultan\u00e9ment, c&rsquo;est-\u00e0-dire \u00ab toutes assises \u00e0 la m\u00eame table \u00bb ); et \u00ab\u00a0couplage tout-\u00e0-tout\u00a0\u00bb, o\u00f9 chaque cellule peut parler \u00e0 chacune des autres, mais avec une seule cellule \u00e0 la fois, c&rsquo;est-\u00e0-dire \u00ab\u00a0de nombreuses discussions, mais chaque discussion n&rsquo;a que deux participants\u00a0\u00bb). Cependant, il n&rsquo;est pas clair si ces deux sources sont n\u00e9cessaires et s&rsquo;il existe des limites \u00e0 la vitesse de charge qui peut \u00eatre atteinte.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"VIiyi\" lang=\"fr\"><span class=\"JLqJ4b\" data-language-for-alternatives=\"fr\" data-language-to-translate-into=\"en\" data-phrase-index=\"0\" data-number-of-phrases=\"1\">Dans leur exploration de ce concept, les chercheurs ont montr\u00e9 que le couplage tout-\u00e0-tout n&rsquo;est pas pertinent dans les batteries quantiques et que la pr\u00e9sence d&rsquo;op\u00e9rations globales est le seul ingr\u00e9dient de l&rsquo;avantage quantique. En outre, les chercheurs affirment avoir identifi\u00e9 la source exacte de cet avantage tout en excluant toute autre possibilit\u00e9 et ont m\u00eame fourni un moyen explicite de concevoir de telles batteries, et ont en outre pu quantifier avec pr\u00e9cision la vitesse de charge pouvant \u00eatre atteinte dans ce sch\u00e9ma.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"VIiyi\" lang=\"fr\"><span class=\"JLqJ4b\" data-language-for-alternatives=\"fr\" data-language-to-translate-into=\"en\" data-phrase-index=\"0\" data-number-of-phrases=\"1\">Alors que la vitesse de charge maximale augmente de mani\u00e8re lin\u00e9aire avec le nombre de cellules dans les batteries classiques, leur \u00e9tude a montr\u00e9 que les batteries quantiques utilisant un fonctionnement global peuvent atteindre une mise \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9chelle quadratique de la vitesse de charge. Pour illustrer cela, disent les chercheurs, consid\u00e9rons un v\u00e9hicule \u00e9lectrique typique avec une batterie qui contient environ 200 cellules. L&rsquo;utilisation de cette charge quantique entra\u00eenerait une acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration de 200 fois par rapport aux batteries classiques, ce qui signifie que le temps de charge \u00e0 domicile serait r\u00e9duit de 10 heures \u00e0 environ trois minutes. Dans les bornes de recharge \u00e0 grande vitesse, le temps de charge passerait de 30 minutes \u00e0 quelques secondes.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"VIiyi\" lang=\"fr\"><span class=\"JLqJ4b\" data-language-for-alternatives=\"fr\" data-language-to-translate-into=\"en\" data-phrase-index=\"0\" data-number-of-phrases=\"1\">Selon les chercheurs, les cons\u00e9quences peuvent \u00eatre consid\u00e9rables et les implications de la charge quantique peuvent aller bien au-del\u00e0 des voitures \u00e9lectriques et de l&rsquo;\u00e9lectronique grand public. Par exemple, on pourrait trouver des utilisations cl\u00e9s dans les futures centrales \u00e9lectriques \u00e0 fusion, qui n\u00e9cessitent de grandes quantit\u00e9s d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie devant \u00eatre charg\u00e9es et d\u00e9charg\u00e9es en un instant.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"VIiyi\" lang=\"fr\"><span class=\"JLqJ4b\" data-language-for-alternatives=\"fr\" data-language-to-translate-into=\"en\" data-phrase-index=\"0\" data-number-of-phrases=\"1\">Alors que les technologies quantiques en sont encore \u00e0 leurs balbutiements et qu&rsquo;il reste un long chemin \u00e0 parcourir avant que ces m\u00e9thodes puissent \u00eatre mises en \u0153uvre dans la pratique, on pense que les r\u00e9sultats de la recherche comme ceux-ci cr\u00e9ent une direction prometteuse et peuvent inciter les agences de financement et les entreprises \u00e0 investir davantage dans ces technologies.
