Philip Johnston, Pr\u00e9sident Ex\u00e9cutif de Trackwise, explique\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0Comme le rapporte le Journal of the American Heart Association, de nouveaux d\u00e9veloppements dans les cath\u00e9ters, les endoscopes et autres \u00e9quipements m\u00e9dicaux, permettent \u00e0 l&rsquo;op\u00e9rateur de travailler avec l&rsquo;anatomie du patient, plut\u00f4t que de se battre contre elle.\u00a0\u00bb Un rapport d&rsquo;Allied Market Research va dans ce sens, pr\u00e9cisant que le march\u00e9 mondial des cath\u00e9ters a connu une croissance de 8,5%, et atteindra 15\u00a0milliards de dollars cette ann\u00e9e. Cette augmentation de la demande est due au vieillissement de la population, \u00e0 l&rsquo;augmentation des maladies cardiovasculaires, des d\u00e9faillances de la vessie et des reins, ainsi qu&rsquo;\u00e0 la demande croissante de chirurgies moins invasives.<br \/>\nLa technologie FPC apporte plusieurs avantages cl\u00e9s aux instruments m\u00e9dicaux comme les cath\u00e9ters et les endoscopes, qui permettant au chirurgien d&rsquo;acc\u00e9der \u00e0 des zones du corps auparavant difficilement accessibles. \u00a0Les FPC peuvent \u00eatre plus petits et plus l\u00e9gers que les solutions \u00e0 fils discrets qu&rsquo;ils remplacent. Ils sont \u00e9galement plus souples et peuvent s&rsquo;\u00e9tirer (dans certaines limites).<br \/>\nUn autre avantage de la technologie FPC est de r\u00e9duire le temps d&rsquo;assemblage. Les circuits n\u00e9cessaires sont imprim\u00e9s en une seule op\u00e9ration, plut\u00f4t qu&rsquo;assembl\u00e9s \u00e0 partir de fils discrets. Cela permet de r\u00e9aliser d&rsquo;importantes \u00e9conomies. Il est ainsi possible de produire des cath\u00e9ters et des endoscopes \u00e0 usage unique, ce qui permet d&rsquo;am\u00e9liorer l&rsquo;hygi\u00e8ne et de r\u00e9duire les co\u00fbts pour l&rsquo;\u00e9tablissement m\u00e9dical, tant en termes d&rsquo;investissement initial qu\u2019en co\u00fbts de nettoyage r\u00e9currents.<br \/>\nM.
