Le groupe de l&rsquo;Universit\u00e9 de Californie (UCLA) aux \u00c9tats-Unis lance PyGears en tant que nouveau langage de description de hardware. Cela fonctionne tr\u00e8s bien aussi bien pour les petites que les grandes \u00e9quipes d&rsquo;ing\u00e9nierie. La conception et la v\u00e9rification du mat\u00e9riel sont bas\u00e9es sur l&rsquo;environnement Python, ce qui r\u00e9duit les barri\u00e8res entre les domaines logiciel et mat\u00e9riel. La vision est de permettre aux informaticiens de coder du hardware.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"VIiyi\" lang=\"fr\"><span class=\"JLqJ4b\" data-language-for-alternatives=\"fr\" data-language-to-translate-into=\"en\" data-phrase-index=\"0\" data-number-of-phrases=\"1\">\u00ab\u00a0La plus grande limitation des logiciels est le taux relativement lent d&rsquo;\u00e9volution du hardware\u00a0\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Shahin Farshchi, associ\u00e9 chez Lux Capital. \u00ab\u00a0PyGears va aider des g\u00e9ants (des semiconducteurs) \u00e0 acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer la conception de hardware plus pr\u00e8s de la vitesse du \u00ab\u00a0codage\u00a0\u00bb ( logiciel), ce qui conduira \u00e0 de nouveaux cas d&rsquo;utilisation magiques qui sous-tendront les produits et les entreprises qui d\u00e9finissent le march\u00e9.\u00a0\u00bb PyGears a \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9 par le Dr Bogdan Vukobratovic, responsable de la R&amp;D chez Anari AI pour fournir un d\u00e9veloppement plus agile plut\u00f4t que de se concentrer sur l&rsquo;optimisation et le contr\u00f4le de bas niveau dans les langages de conception VHDL et Verilog.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"VIiyi\" lang=\"fr\"><span class=\"JLqJ4b\" data-language-for-alternatives=\"fr\" data-language-to-translate-into=\"en\" data-phrase-index=\"0\" data-number-of-phrases=\"1\">PyGears permet de contr\u00f4ler tous les aspects jusqu&rsquo;aux couches les plus basses, ce qui rend le processus de plusieurs fois plus efficace. Il souligne \u00e9galement que la construction d&rsquo;architectures complexes n\u00e9cessite des syst\u00e8mes avec plus d&rsquo;agilit\u00e9 dans le d\u00e9veloppement.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"VIiyi\" lang=\"fr\"><span class=\"JLqJ4b\" data-language-for-alternatives=\"fr\" data-language-to-translate-into=\"en\" data-phrase-index=\"0\" data-number-of-phrases=\"1\">\u00ab\u00a0PyGears est n\u00e9 dans le but de capturer toutes les bonnes pratiques que j&rsquo;ai trouv\u00e9es utiles au cours de ma carri\u00e8re dans un outil qui pourrait consid\u00e9rablement acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer la mise en \u0153uvre mat\u00e9rielle d&rsquo;architectures complexes, en particulier si elles sont li\u00e9es \u00e0 des paradigmes d&rsquo;IA\u00a0\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Vukobratovic. \u00ab\u00a0C&rsquo;est un projet gratuit et open-source qui devrait \u00eatre un bon d\u00e9but dans la cr\u00e9ation de la conception de puces de nouvelle g\u00e9n\u00e9ration, mais cet objectif nous oblige tous \u00e0 contribuer et \u00e0 d\u00e9terminer l&rsquo;orientation du d\u00e9veloppement du hardware.
