La soci\u00e9t\u00e9 y produit des dispositifs GaAs, SiC et InP pour les applications opto\u00e9lectroniques.&nbsp;L\u2019usine de 28 000 m\u00b2 dispose d&rsquo;une salle blanche de plus de 9200 m\u00b2. Cette usine fut construite pour fabriquer dee DRAM pour Funjitsu. Elle appartient depuis \u00e0 Filtronic, RF Micro Devices et Compound Photonics.<\/p>\n<p>Lors de l&rsquo;acquisition, le Dr Chuck Mattera pr\u00e9sident et chef de la direction de II-VI a d\u00e9clar\u00e9&nbsp;:\u00ab Cette unit\u00e9 abrite l&rsquo;une des meilleures salles blanches de l&rsquo;industrie des semiconducteurs hybrides et augmente nos capacit\u00e9s \u00e0 un moment o\u00f9 la capacit\u00e9 de l&rsquo;industrie devient rapidement enti\u00e8rement absorb\u00e9e. Compte tenu de la demande que nous anticipons, cette acquisition nous permettra d&rsquo;acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer la commercialisation par rapport \u00e0 la construction d&rsquo;un site exclusif et de renforcer notre position de leader dans la cha\u00eene d&rsquo;approvisionnement.&nbsp;Il s&rsquo;ajoute \u00e0 notre capacit\u00e9 interne pour les VCSEL et s&rsquo;inscrit \u00e9galement dans le cadre d&rsquo;un mouvement strat\u00e9gique plus large visant \u00e0 fournir une usine de fabrication de plaquettes polyvalente de 6 pouces pour les dispositifs bas\u00e9s sur GaAs, SiC et InP.&nbsp;Cette acquisition augmentera consid\u00e9rablement notre capacit\u00e9 et devrait nous permettre \u00e0 terme de p\u00e9n\u00e9trer des march\u00e9s \u00e0 forte croissance port\u00e9s, par exemple, par la d\u00e9tection 3D, la 5G sans fil.<\/p>\n<p>Kaiam, dont le si\u00e8ge est \u00e0 Newark, dans le New Jersey, avait aussi une usine en \u00c9cosse qui a ferm\u00e9 en 2018 et l&rsquo;ensemble de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 a pli\u00e9 bagage en 2019 apr\u00e8s une bataille de brevets avec Finisar, elle-m\u00eame rachet\u00e9e par II-VI en 2018.<\/p>\n<p>II-VI recrute actuellement via linkedin, des scientifiques des mat\u00e9riaux, des ing\u00e9nieurs de proc\u00e9d\u00e9s, des ing\u00e9nieurs syst\u00e8mes, des techniciens de production et des op\u00e9rateurs de production
