Microchip Technology, via sa filiale <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sst.com\/\">Silicon Storage Technology (SST)<\/a> a annonc\u00e9 que sa solution de m\u00e9moire neuromorphique SuperFlash, memBrain, permettait de r\u00e9soudre ce probl\u00e8me pour le SoC de traitement neuronal WITINMEM. Il s\u2019agit du premier SoC produit en s\u00e9rie permettant \u00e0 des syst\u00e8mes \u00ab\u00a0sous le mA\u00a0\u00bb de r\u00e9duire le bruit vocal et de reconna\u00eetre des centaines de mots de commande, en temps r\u00e9el, et d\u00e8s la mise sous tension.<\/p>\n<p>Microchip a travaill\u00e9 avec WITINMEM pour incorporer la solution de calcul analogique en m\u00e9moire, memBrain de Microchip, bas\u00e9e sur la technologie SuperFlash, dans le SoC ultra-basse consommation de WITINMEM. Ce SoC dispose d&rsquo;une technologie de calcul en m\u00e9moire pour le traitement par r\u00e9seau neuronal, notamment pour la reconnaissance vocale, la reconnaissance d\u2019empreinte vocale, la r\u00e9duction de bruit vocal, la d\u00e9tection de sc\u00e8nes, et la surveillance d&rsquo;\u00e9tat de sant\u00e9. De son c\u00f4t\u00e9, WITINMEM travaille avec de nombreux clients pour commercialiser des produits bas\u00e9s sur ce SoC au cours de l&rsquo;ann\u00e9e 2022.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0WITINMEM innove gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la solution memBrain de Microchip pour r\u00e9pondre aux besoins de calcul intensif du traitement vocal par IA en temps r\u00e9el au niveau Edge, en s\u2019appuyant sur des mod\u00e8les avanc\u00e9s \u00e0 r\u00e9seau de neurone,\u00a0\u00bb d\u00e9clare Shaodi Wang, Pr\u00e9sident Ex\u00e9cutif de WITINMEM. \u00ab\u00a0Nous avons \u00e9t\u00e9 les premiers \u00e0 d\u00e9velopper une puce de calcul en m\u00e9moire pour l&rsquo;audio en 2019. Et aujourd&rsquo;hui nous avons franchi une nouvelle \u00e9tape avec la production en s\u00e9rie de cette technologie dans notre SoC de traitement neuronal ultra-basse consommation, qui rationalise et am\u00e9liore les performances du traitement vocal dans les produits intelligents \u00e0 traitement vocal et de sant\u00e9.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Nous sommes ravis d&rsquo;avoir WITINMEM comme client important et nous applaudissons cette entreprise qui arrive sur le march\u00e9 en plein essor du traitement Edge IA avec un produit de pointe utilisant notre technologie,\u00a0\u00bb d\u00e9clare Mark Reiten, Vice-Pr\u00e9sident de la division Licences chez SST. \u00ab\u00a0Le SoC WITINMEM d\u00e9montre tout l\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat de la technologie memBrain pour cr\u00e9er une solution monopuce bas\u00e9e sur un processeur neuronal de calcul en m\u00e9moire, qui \u00e9limine les probl\u00e8mes pos\u00e9s par les processeurs traditionnels utilisant une approche DSP plus SRAM\/DRAM pour stocker et ex\u00e9cuter des mod\u00e8les d&rsquo;apprentissage automatique.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>La m\u00e9moire neuromorphique memBrain de Microchip est optimis\u00e9e pour la multiplication de matrices vectorielles (VMM) n\u00e9cessaires aux r\u00e9seaux neuronaux. Il permet \u00e0 des processeurs install\u00e9s dans des dispositifs Edge \u00e0 haut niveau d\u2019int\u00e9gration et aliment\u00e9s par batterie, d&rsquo;offrir les meilleures performances possibles en mati\u00e8re d&rsquo;inf\u00e9rences IA par watt. Ceci est possible en stockant les pond\u00e9rations du mod\u00e8le neuronal sous forme de valeurs dans la matrice m\u00e9moire, et en utilisant simultan\u00e9ment cette matrice m\u00e9moire comme \u00e9l\u00e9ment de calcul neuronal. Cela se traduit par une consommation d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie 10 \u00e0 20\u00a0fois inf\u00e9rieure \u00e0 celle des autres approches, ainsi qu&rsquo;une r\u00e9duction des co\u00fbts globaux de nomenclature du processeur, puisqu\u2019aucune DRAM ni NOR externe n\u2019est n\u00e9cessaire.<\/p>\n<p>Le stockage permanent des mod\u00e8les neuronaux \u00e0 l&rsquo;int\u00e9rieur m\u00eame du composant de traitement de la solution memBrain, permet aussi l&rsquo;activation instantan\u00e9e du traitement par r\u00e9seau neuronal en temps r\u00e9el.
