Un syst&egrave;me de stockage de donn&eacute;es priv&eacute;, externe au calculateur, d&rsquo;une capacit&eacute; de 2.5 Po (petaoctet ou million de milliards d&rsquo;octets de m&eacute;moire) avec un d&eacute;bit de 60 Go\/s permettra aux utilisateurs de stocker leurs donn&eacute;es.<br \/>\nCe calculateur disposera de 2304 processeurs Intel Xeon de la famille E5 Broadwell, soit 32256 c&oelig;urs &agrave; 2.4 Ghz et de 18 n&oelig;uds hybrides &agrave; base de processeurs Nvidia Pascal, pour la partie calcul et visualisation distante. La partition d&eacute;di&eacute;e au projet France G&eacute;nomique sera, quant &agrave; elle, &eacute;quip&eacute;e de 4032 c&oelig;urs Intel Xeon &agrave; 2.4 Ghz de la m&ecirc;me famille et de 4 n&oelig;uds de tr&egrave;s grosse m&eacute;moire &agrave; 3 To\/n&oelig;ud. Un r&eacute;seau d&rsquo;interconnexion Infiniband de toute derni&egrave;re technologie constituera le c&oelig;ur de ce calculateur et lui permettra d&rsquo;augmenter ses capacit&eacute;s en fonction des besoins des partenaires du CCRT pour les 4 &agrave; 5 ann&eacute;es &agrave; venir. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Le CCRT a pour mission de soutenir le d&eacute;veloppement de la simulation num&eacute;rique, en particulier dans le monde industriel. Cr&eacute;&eacute; en 2003, sur la base d&rsquo;un mod&egrave;le de partenariat unique en France, il a d&eacute;montr&eacute; sa capacit&eacute; &agrave; r&eacute;pondre de fa&ccedil;on durable aux besoins des industriels. Il propose une offre riche en comp&eacute;tences de calcul haute performance (HPC), adapt&eacute;e aux besoins croissants des partenaires, qui allie s&eacute;curit&eacute; et souplesse dans l&rsquo;utilisation des moyens.\n<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Les &eacute;quipes d&rsquo;Airbus D&amp;S, d&rsquo;Areva, d&rsquo;EDF, d&rsquo;Herakles, de l&rsquo;Ineris, de L&rsquo;Or&eacute;al, de Safran Tech, de Snecma, de Thales, de Thales Alenia Space, de Techspace Aero, Turbomeca, Valeo et du CEA disposeront ainsi des ressources de calculs au meilleur niveau n&eacute;cessaires aux d&eacute;veloppements de leurs futurs projets. Les &eacute;tudes sur la dur&eacute;e de vie des centrales &eacute;lectriques, la conception et la s&ucirc;ret&eacute; des r&eacute;acteurs nucl&eacute;aires, le d&eacute;veloppement des moteurs d&rsquo;avion et d&rsquo;h&eacute;licopt&egrave;re, l&rsquo;optimisation des syst&egrave;mes de ventilation et de climatisation des voitures, la conception des syst&egrave;mes radars, l&rsquo;analyse des risques environnementaux, l&rsquo;&eacute;tude des prot&eacute;ines et le d&eacute;cryptage du g&eacute;nome, la pr&eacute;diction de la performance de produits cosm&eacute;tiques ou encore la
