Ses circuits de gestion de l&rsquo;&eacute;nergie int&eacute;gr&eacute;s convertissent le courant de couplage AC en courant DC requis pour charger la batterie.Une charge &agrave; syst&egrave;me sans-fil par ce composant rend possible la r&eacute;alisation d&rsquo;un produit compl&egrave;tement scell&eacute; et &eacute;limine le remplacement constant des piles.<br \/>\nLa d&eacute;tection Zn-air (Zinc-air) autorise le fonctionnement des applications avec, &agrave; la fois, de fa&ccedil;on interchangeable, les batteries NiMH rechargeables et les piles Zn-air, avec le m&ecirc;me circuit d&rsquo;application. Les batteries des deux types peuvent alimenter directement un ASIC de proth&egrave;se auditive sans avoir besoin de convertir une tension suppl&eacute;mentaire. Par contre, une batterie Li-ion de 3,7 V requiert un r&eacute;gulateur abaisseur compl&eacute;mentaire pour alimenter l&rsquo;ASIC.<br \/>\nCe circuit redresse la tension AC en provenance de la bobine de r&eacute;ception et peut aussi recevoir une tension de 2,2 V &agrave; 5 V en entr&eacute;e, pour alimenter un chargeur de batterie complet &agrave; intensit&eacute; constante \/ tension constante. Ses caract&eacute;ristiques comprennent un courant de charge programmable jusqu&rsquo;&agrave; 25 mA, une tension de charge d&rsquo;un &eacute;l&eacute;ment de batterie 1,5 V avec une pr&eacute;cision de &plusmn;0,5%, un indicateur d&rsquo;&eacute;tat de la charge et une minuterie de fin de charge de s&eacute;curit&eacute; sur la carte. Une tension de charge &agrave; temp&eacute;rature compens&eacute;e prot&egrave;ge la batterie NiMH et emp&ecirc;che une surcharge.
