Sa fr&eacute;quence de commutation est programmable entre 100 kHz et 500 kHz, ce qui donne aux concepteurs la possibilit&eacute; de r&eacute;duire la taille des composants externes. Le fonctionnement en Burst Mode r&eacute;duit le courant de repos &agrave; seulement 6 &micro;A et maintient l&rsquo;ondulation de la tension de sortie inf&eacute;rieure &agrave; 20 mV cr&ecirc;te-&agrave;-cr&ecirc;te. La combinaison d&rsquo;un bo&icirc;tier MSOP-16E haute tension et de petits composants externes autorise une empreinte tr&egrave;s compacte et r&eacute;duit le co&ucirc;t de la r&eacute;alisation.<br \/>\nLe commutateur interne 0,5 A pr&eacute;sente des rendements &eacute;lev&eacute;s allant jusqu&rsquo;&agrave; 90%. Une seule r&eacute;sistance dans la boucle de r&eacute;gulation fixe la tension de sortie, qu&rsquo;elle soit positive ou n&eacute;gative, ce qui minimise le nombre de composants externes. La broche SYNC\/MODE du composant assure la synchronisation &agrave; une horloge externe ou peut &ecirc;tre utilis&eacute;e pour effectuer un choix entre le fonctionnement en Burst Mode, pour un faible courant de repos IQ, et celui &agrave; densit&eacute; variable d&rsquo;impulsions, pour un niveau de bruit le plus bas possible. Les autres caract&eacute;ristiques comprennent un arr&ecirc;t en cas de sous-tension UVLO, un d&eacute;marrage progressif interne, le repliement de fr&eacute;quence et une protection par arr&ecirc;t thermique.<br \/>\nLe LT8331EMSE est encapsul&eacute; en un bo&icirc;tier MSOP- 16E pour forte tension.
