Associ&eacute;e aux groupes existants RL78\/F13 et F14, la gamme offre un total de 127 versions en bo&icirc;tiers compris entre 20 et 144 broches, ce qui donne aux fabricants de syst&egrave;mes la possibilit&eacute; de choisir le MCU qui r&eacute;pond le mieux &agrave; leurs applications.<br \/>\nAujourd&rsquo;hui, les v&eacute;hicules sont &eacute;quip&eacute;s de nombreuses unit&eacute;s de commande &eacute;lectronique (ECU) associ&eacute;es &agrave; toutes sortes de fonctions telles que porti&egrave;res, airbags, lampes et si&egrave;ges &eacute;lectriques. Le d&eacute;veloppement de logiciels pour ces ECU devient de plus en plus complexe et la possibilit&eacute; d&rsquo;utiliser un logiciel commun pour plusieurs ECU est importante pour gagner en efficacit&eacute;.<br \/>\nCe groupe F15 contient le m&ecirc;me c&oelig;ur de processeur que les deux groupes existants, ce qui lui conf&egrave;re une compatibilit&eacute; totale et simplifie la portabilit&eacute; logicielle. Par cons&eacute;quent, quand la capacit&eacute; ROM\/RAM ou le nombre de broche devient insuffisant &agrave; cause des mises &agrave; jour de l&rsquo;ECU, ou des ajouts\/modifications soudains de logiciels en raison de l&rsquo;&eacute;volution du syst&egrave;me, davantage de possibilit&eacute;s sont offertes aux fabricants pour s&rsquo;adapter &agrave; ces changements. De plus, ce dernier groupe s&rsquo;appuie sur un proc&eacute;d&eacute; de fabrication propri&eacute;taire qui a fait ses preuves, ce qui permet de r&eacute;duire les proc&eacute;dures de certification.\n<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Deux canaux CAN sont fournis afin d&rsquo;assurer une communication CAN ind&eacute;pendante pour le contr&ocirc;le et le diagnostic. En outre, la pr&eacute;sence de jusqu&rsquo;&agrave; trois canaux LIN mat&eacute;riels est bien adapt&eacute;e pour les applications n&eacute;cessitant un contr&ocirc;le centralis&eacute; des communications comme les modules BCM.
