Ils sont con&ccedil;us pour servir dans de nombreuses applications au sein de dispositifs mobiles comme des tablettes ou des PC portables, mais aussi d&rsquo;&eacute;quipements bureautiques, de contr&ocirc;leurs industriels ou de concentrateurs de capteurs. Ils supportent plusieurs types d&rsquo;interfaces s&eacute;rie, notamment USB, SPI et un mode rapide (Fast Mode), ainsi que l&rsquo;I2C avec une vitesse de transfert jusqu&rsquo;&agrave; 1 Mbits\/s.<br \/>\nLes contr&ocirc;leurs USB int&eacute;gr&eacute;s facilitent le contr&ocirc;le et la gestion des dispositifs USB mais peuvent aussi fonctionner comme concentrateurs de capteurs, en transf&eacute;rant les donn&eacute;es des capteurs &agrave; un contr&ocirc;leur principal ou &agrave; un PC.<br \/>\nCes trois composants sont conditionn&eacute;s en bo&icirc;tiers compacts pour r&eacute;pondre &agrave; la demande d&rsquo;appareils &eacute;lectroniques toujours plus petits et plus minces.
