Concernant le d&eacute;bit, la conversion de paquets de donn&eacute;es GigE en paquets USB 3.0 r&eacute;duit le d&eacute;bit des convertisseurs USB 3.0\/GigE &agrave; 700-800 Mbps. Pour sa part, ce contr&ocirc;leur utilise un m&eacute;canisme de transfert propri&eacute;taire qui regroupe plusieurs paquets de donn&eacute;es GigE en rafales USB pour obtenir un d&eacute;bit de 910 Mbps, proche du d&eacute;bit de 950 Mbps des solutions GigE natives.<br \/>\nAu niveau consommation, il est difficile &agrave; une passerelle traditionnelle USB 3.0\/GigE de supporter les modes basse consommation des deux standards simultan&eacute;ment, contrairement au GX3 qui s&rsquo;y plie efficacement gr&acirc;ce &agrave; plusieurs modes de r&eacute;duction d&rsquo;&eacute;nergie. <\/p>\n<p>&quot;Le MacBook d&rsquo;Apple a supprim&eacute; le port Ethernet il y a bien longtemps, les Ultrabooks et Chromebooks ont suivi, mais les utilisateurs souhaitent toujours une connectivit&eacute; GigE pour le streaming haute d&eacute;finition et autres applications gourmandes en bande passante&quot;, a d&eacute;clar&eacute; Mark Fu, Directeur marketing des produits USB 3.0 chez Cypress. &quot;Notre nouvelle solution EZ-USB GX3 d&eacute;livre le haut d&eacute;bit GigE &agrave; tout syst&egrave;me USB 3.0, via une prise standard USB Type-A ou la nouvelle prise Type-C. Le GX3 compl&egrave;te notre portefeuille USB SuperSpeed et permet &agrave; Cypress, en conjonction avec nos contr&ocirc;leurs programmables d&rsquo;avant-garde EZ-PD USB Type-C Power Delivery et notre hub USB 3.0 EZ-USB HX3, de proposer une v&eacute;ritable solution d&rsquo;accueil monoc&acirc;ble pour les portables, tablettes et autres appareils mobiles.&quot; \n<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Ce contr&ocirc;leur int&egrave;gre un MAC Gigabit Ethernet et une interface PHY 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet ainsi que d&rsquo;autres fonctionnalit&eacute;s de gestion de consommation avanc&eacute;es telles que Wake-on-LAN, permettant des &eacute;conomies d&rsquo;&eacute;nergie pendant les p&eacute;riodes de repos ou de faible trafic Ethernet, et AutoDetach, qui effectue la &quot;d&eacute;connexion logicielle&quot; du contr&ocirc;leur vis-&agrave;-vis du Host USB lorsque le c&acirc;ble Ethernet n&rsquo;est pas enfich&eacute;.<br \/>\nL&rsquo;interface PHY USB et le contr&ocirc;leur sont totalement conformes &agrave; la directive Link Power Manangement (LPM) de l&rsquo;USB, supportant les &eacute;tats basse consommation U0, U1, U2 et U3. Par ailleurs le circuit int&egrave;gre un automate COE (Checksum Offload Engine) d&eacute;chargeant le processeur du contr&ocirc;le et de la g&eacute;n&eacute;ration des checksums IPv4 IP\/TCP\/UDP\/ICMP\/IGMP et IPv6 TCP\/UDP\/ICMPv6.<br \/>\nLe standard USB Type-C gagne rapidement du terrain aupr&egrave;s des fabricants majeurs de PC en autorisant des designs ultrafins, des connecteurs et des c&acirc;bles simples d&#8217;emploi, la transmission de protocoles divers, ainsi qu&rsquo;une puissance transportable de 100 W, une am&eacute;lioration significative par rapport au standard pr&eacute;c&eacute;dent de 7,5 W. Avec sa hauteur de 2,4 mm, l&#8217;embase du connecteur USB Type-C est sensiblement plus fine que les connecteurs actuels au standard Type-A (4,5 mm). Le Type-C autorise &eacute;galement le transport de signaux USB et de signaux DisplayPort par le m&ecirc;me connecteur.<br \/>\nActuellement &eacute;chantillonn&eacute; en bo&icirc;tier QFN-68, ce contr&ocirc;leur USB 3.0 est compl&eacute;t&eacute; par le design de r&eacute;f&eacute;rence USB Type-C to Gigabit Ethernet Dongle incluant l&rsquo;ensemble des fichiers mat&eacute;riels
