Une solution d&rsquo;alimentation &eacute;quivalente mais avec des composants discrets n&rsquo;est pas forc&eacute;ment optimis&eacute;es et a g&eacute;n&eacute;ralement un co&ucirc;t sup&eacute;rieur.<br \/>\nA partir de sources diff&eacute;rentes telles qu&rsquo;un port USB, un adaptateur ou des batteries, ces trois unit&eacute;s tr&egrave;s int&eacute;gr&eacute;es de gestion d&rsquo;&eacute;nergie sont capables de fournir les alimentations &agrave; des circuits et de charger une batterie. Elles poss&egrave;dent des fonctions programmables par OTP, comme le s&eacute;quencement des alimentations et les niveaux de tension de sortie, tout en ayant la possibilit&eacute; d&rsquo;&ecirc;tre contr&ocirc;l&eacute;s par un bus I2C &agrave; 400 kHz ou 3 MHz.<br \/>\nSelon le mod&egrave;le, le PMU contient un ensemble de circuits d&rsquo;alimentation comptant de 3 &agrave; 5 convertisseurs DC\/DC Step-down haut rendement avec DVS, 5 &agrave; 12 r&eacute;gulateurs LDO, une horloge RTC ainsi que 4 &agrave; 5 ports GPIO. Ils int&egrave;grent &eacute;galement un convertisseur AD 12 Bits, un chargeur de batterie Lithium-Ion, la fonction de &ldquo;Fuel Gauge&rdquo; 12 Bits et le choix du &ldquo;PowerPath&rdquo;<br \/>\nCes PMU ont &eacute;t&eacute; d&eacute;velopp&eacute;s pour alimenter des processeurs &agrave; c&oelig;ur ARM Cortex, des processeurs GPS\/PND, des modules pour PC industriels et des processeurs pour Set-top box. Ils peuvent &ecirc;tre &eacute;galement utilis&eacute;s dans des terminaux, des t&eacute;l&eacute;phones mobiles et des tablettes.<br \/>\nCes dispositifs sont encapsul&eacute;s dans de petits bo&icirc;tiers QFN0606-48, CSP0608-80 ou CSP0606-84, bien adapt&eacute;s &agrave; une utilisation sur des cartes limit&eacute;es en place. <br \/>\nLe support technique, les logiciels n&eacute;cessaires, une carte d&rsquo;&eacute;valuation et des notes d&rsquo;application sont &eacute;galement pr&eacute;vus pour faciliter le d&eacute;veloppement. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><a
