Avec leurs terminaisons int&eacute;gr&eacute;es, les bo&icirc;tiers ultra-compacts de 5 x 5 mm et 6 x 6 mm de ces dispositifs &agrave; 6 et 8 sorties r&eacute;duisent de 90% l&rsquo;encombrement global sur carte.<br \/>\nCes circuits se distinguent &eacute;galement par diff&eacute;rentes autres caract&eacute;ristiques. La configuration individuelle des imp&eacute;dances de sortie permet d&rsquo;utiliser un m&ecirc;me composant dans des environnements m&eacute;langeant plusieurs niveaux d&rsquo;imp&eacute;dance, sans n&eacute;cessiter de composants de terminaison externes.<br \/>\nDes versions programmables en usine, autorisent une configuration par d&eacute;faut, d&eacute;finie par l&rsquo;utilisateur, des imp&eacute;dances de sortie, polarit&eacute; d&rsquo;entr&eacute;e, r&eacute;sistances pull-up ou pull-down internes, mode de r&eacute;veil par r&eacute;seau local WOL pour l&rsquo;oscillateur &agrave; quartz. Ceci &eacute;vite pratiquement tout recours &agrave; de la logique de contr&ocirc;le externe.<br \/>\nEn outre, ces composants supportent les deux architectures d&rsquo;horloge PCIe, Common Clock (horloge commune) avec ou sans &eacute;talement de spectre, et Independent Reference (r&eacute;f&eacute;rence ind&eacute;pendante) sans &eacute;talement de spectre. Ils sont destin&eacute;s aux projets avec des contraintes de consommation ou d&rsquo;encombrement strictes, en &eacute;lectronique grand-public ou pour certaines applications hautes-performances, car ils proposent des niveaux de performances de classe entreprise, tout en r&eacute;duisant les co&ucirc;ts d&rsquo;exploitation. Les applications potentielles sont, notamment, les imprimantes multifonctions, les serveurs, les d&eacute;codeurs TV ou les disques SSD.
