Cette technologie fournit une solution de pointe peu co&ucirc;teuse aux entreprises &eacute;voluant sur les march&eacute;s des dispositifs des syst&egrave;mes de visualisation nomades, en croissance rapide. &raquo;<\/p>\n<p class=\"Default\"><strong>Une luminosit&eacute; 100 &agrave; 1 000 fois sup&eacute;rieure aux niveaux existants<\/strong><br \/>\nL&rsquo;innovation du CEA-Leti, annonc&eacute;e lors de la Display Week 2015 de San Jos&eacute;, en Californie, s&rsquo;appuie sur des matrices &agrave; micro-LED hybrid&eacute;es sur un circuit d&rsquo;adressage en silicium. Le produit int&egrave;gre d&rsquo;autres innovations-cl&eacute;s : croissance &eacute;pitaxiale de couches de GaN sur du saphir, micro-structuration des matrices de LED (pixels de 10 microns ou moins), et hybridation des matrices LED sur un circuit silicium.&nbsp;Ces innovations permettent d&rsquo;obtenir une luminance d&rsquo;un million de cd\/m&sup2; en affichage monochrome et de 100 Kcd\/m&sup2; pour les affichages couleur, d&rsquo;une r&eacute;solution de 2,5 millions de pixels, sur un dispositif de moins de 2,5 centim&egrave;tres. Cela repr&eacute;sente un facteur d&rsquo;am&eacute;lioration de 100 &agrave; 1 000 par rapport aux micro-&eacute;crans &eacute;missifs actuels, avec une excellente efficacit&eacute; &eacute;nerg&eacute;tique. La technologie permettra &eacute;galement de fabriquer des produits tr&egrave;s compacts, r&eacute;duisant de mani&egrave;re importante les contraintes d&rsquo;int&eacute;gration syst&egrave;me.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p class=\"Default\">Le processus de fabrication des &eacute;crans micro-LED haute densit&eacute; a &eacute;t&eacute; d&eacute;velopp&eacute; en coop&eacute;ration avec le III-V Lab.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Default\"><strong>&Agrave; propos du III-V Lab (France)<\/strong><br \/>\nLe III-V lab est un laboratoire commun entre Alcatel-Lucent, Thales et le CEA, d&eacute;di&eacute; &agrave; la recherche sur les composants opto-&eacute;lectroniques et micro-&eacute;lectroniques faisant appel aux technologies de semi-conducteurs III-V et &agrave; leur int&eacute;gration sur silicium. Cr&eacute;&eacute; en 2004 sous la forme d&rsquo;un Groupement d&rsquo;Int&eacute;r&ecirc;t Economique, le III-V lab regroupe 120 chercheurs en r&eacute;gion parisienne et coop&egrave;re activement avec les laboratoires du CEA-Leti &agrave; Grenoble.
