Mais le rayonnement gamma est incompatible avec les technologies m&eacute;moire traditionnelles &agrave; grille flottante utilis&eacute;es dans les semi-conducteurs, car il est tr&egrave;s ionisant et efface la m&eacute;moire. Pour r&eacute;pondre &agrave; cette probl&eacute;matique, cette m&eacute;moire non-volatile r&eacute;siste au rayonnement gamma jusqu&rsquo;&agrave; 75 kGy (kilo Gray). Reprogrammable, elle offre 248 octets de m&eacute;moire utilisateur organis&eacute;e en blocs de 8 octets. Gr&acirc;ce &agrave; ses options de programmation tr&egrave;s souples, ce dispositif permet aux fabricants d&rsquo;&eacute;talonner en usine leurs capteurs, leurs outils et leurs accessoires, en fonction de l&rsquo;instrument m&eacute;dical h&ocirc;te pr&eacute;sent sur le terrain.
