La fr&eacute;quence de d&eacute;coupage peut &ecirc;tre programm&eacute;e entre 200 kHz et 3 MHz et synchronis&eacute;e sur la m&ecirc;me gamme. La dur&eacute;e de conduction minimum de 35 ns autorise des conversions en mode abaisseur de 16 V en entr&eacute;e en 1,8 V en sortie, tandis que la fr&eacute;quence de commutation de 2 MHz donne aux concepteurs la possibilit&eacute; d&rsquo;&eacute;viter les bandes de fr&eacute;quences critiques sensibles au bruit, comme la bande radio AM, et d&rsquo;avoir une solution d&rsquo;empreinte tr&egrave;s compacte.<br \/>\nLa gamme de tensions d&rsquo;entr&eacute;e de 3,4 V &agrave; 42 V est bien adapt&eacute;e aux applications de l&rsquo;automobile o&ugrave; la r&eacute;gulation doit &ecirc;tre maintenue dans des cas de d&eacute;marrage &agrave; froid et d&rsquo;arr&ecirc;t \/ d&eacute;marrage, avec des tensions d&rsquo;entr&eacute;e minimum aussi basses que 3,4 V et de surtensions de plus de 40 V en cas de rupture de charge. Chacun des canaux de ce circuit maintient une tension de d&eacute;chet minimum de seulement 400 mV &agrave; 1 A dans toutes ces conditions de fonctionnement.<br \/>\nLe bo&icirc;tier TSSOP de 28 broches &agrave; performances thermiques renforc&eacute;es et la fr&eacute;quence de commutation &eacute;lev&eacute;e qui permet l&rsquo;emploi de condensateurs et d&rsquo;inductances externes de petite taille, conduisent &agrave; une surface compacte, de bon rendement thermique.<br \/>\nCe bo&icirc;tier int&egrave;gre les deux commutateurs de puissance, haut et bas, au rendement &eacute;lev&eacute;, avec les diodes &eacute;l&eacute;vatrices, l&rsquo;oscillateur, les circuits de contr&ocirc;le et de logique n&eacute;cessaires. Chaque canal commute en opposition de phase (180&deg;) pour r&eacute;duire l&rsquo;ondulation. En outre, chacun d&rsquo;eux poss&egrave;de une entr&eacute;e s&eacute;par&eacute;e pour une plus grande souplesse au niveau de la conception.\n<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Le fonctionnement en Burst Mode, &agrave; faible ondulation, maintient un rendement &eacute;lev&eacute; pour de faibles intensit&eacute;s de sortie tout en gardant l&rsquo;ondulation en dessous de 15 mV cr&ecirc;te&#8209;&agrave;&#8209;cr&ecirc;te. Des techniques de conception sp&eacute;ciales et un proc&eacute;d&eacute; tr&egrave;s rapide assurent un fort rendement sur une large gamme de tensions d&rsquo;entr&eacute;e, et l&rsquo;architecture &agrave; mode courant assure une r&eacute;ponse rapide aux transitoires et une excellente stabilit&eacute; de boucle.
