Il est con&ccedil;u pour les applications automobiles d&rsquo;&eacute;clairage ext&eacute;rieur, incluant les syst&egrave;mes d&rsquo;&eacute;clairage &agrave; LED forte puissance, les feux antibrouillard, les feux de recul, les feux de jour, les feux de position et les phares.<br \/>\nCe driver offre une solution bas co&ucirc;t utilisant un MOSFET externe &agrave; niveau logique et un minimum de composants externes. Le courant maximum des LEDs est ajust&eacute; avec une seule r&eacute;sistance externe et peut &ecirc;tre modul&eacute; avec pr&eacute;cision en utilisant une entr&eacute;e r&eacute;f&eacute;rence pour un contr&ocirc;le analogique.<br \/>\nLa variation de l&rsquo;intensit&eacute; lumineuse est possible soit avec un signal logique externe sur la broche PWM, soit en utilisant le circuit PWM interne par configuration des broches PWM et Rapport Cyclique. La broche PWM offre &eacute;galement la possibilit&eacute; d&rsquo;un mode de veille. Les deux types de contr&ocirc;le PWM pilotent en sortie un transistor externe MOSFET canal P connect&eacute; en s&eacute;rie avec la cha&icirc;ne de LEDs. Ce transistor est aussi utilis&eacute; pour isoler la charge lors de certaines conditions d&rsquo;erreur comme, par exemple, la sortie court-circuit&eacute;e &agrave; la masse.<br \/>\nUne conception pr&eacute;cise minimise les &eacute;missions &eacute;lectromagn&eacute;tiques &agrave; travers un d&eacute;couplage distribu&eacute; et un circuit programmable &agrave; variation de fr&eacute;quence optimis&eacute; pour le standard CEM CISPR 25. Il est &eacute;galement possible de programmer la fr&eacute;quence fondamentale de d&eacute;coupage en dessous des 150 kHz, fr&eacute;quence o&ugrave; d&eacute;bute la plupart des standards CEM.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Le composant poss&egrave;de une protection int&eacute;gr&eacute;e compl&egrave;te pour prot&eacute;ger le circuit, le syst&egrave;me de contr&ocirc;le des LEDs et la cha&icirc;ne de LEDs contre les erreurs. Une protection de surtension en sortie assure que la tension maximale admissible ne sera jamais d&eacute;pass&eacute;e, m&ecirc;me en cas d&rsquo;erreur du circuit de protection lui-m&ecirc;me.
