La r&eacute;sistance externe de d&eacute;tection de courant est une fonctionnalit&eacute; suppl&eacute;mentaire qui permet de mesurer l&rsquo;exc&egrave;s de courant. Tr&egrave;s souvent, cette fonction est remplie par la r&eacute;sistance Ron d&rsquo;un MOSFET, cependant ce param&egrave;tre d&eacute;pend d&rsquo;un certain nombre de conditions rendant le seuil de courant maximum impr&eacute;cis et provoquant une tol&eacute;rance de mesure trop large. En utilisant une r&eacute;sistance externe de haute pr&eacute;cision, le seuil est beaucoup plus pr&eacute;cis et la marge est r&eacute;duite. Ces deux caract&eacute;ristiques am&eacute;liorent d&rsquo;une mani&egrave;re significative le niveau de s&eacute;curit&eacute; de la batterie.<\/p>\n<p>Le R5486 contr&ocirc;le en permanence le processus de charge, de d&eacute;charge et intervient lorsque celui-ci risque de d&eacute;passer la plage de fonctionnement sans danger pour la cellule de la batterie. Par exemple, d&egrave;s que le seuil de tension de surcharge est d&eacute;pass&eacute;, le circuit int&eacute;gr&eacute; coupe le processus de charge et emp&ecirc;che une situation de surcharge. En cas de d&eacute;passement du seuil de d&eacute;charge en tension, le circuit int&eacute;gr&eacute; va interrompre le processus d&egrave;s que la tension de la batterie tombera en-dessous du seuil minimum. Le circuit se mettra alors en mode veille coupant certaines fonctions et r&eacute;duisant la consommation, ce qui permet &agrave; la d&eacute;charge d&rsquo;aller &agrave; son niveau minimum. Un d&eacute;tecteur mesure le niveau de charge en courant et emp&ecirc;che de d&eacute;passer la charge maximum.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Les batteries rechargeables Li-ion\/Polym&egrave;re ont des limites strictes de fonctionnement pour maintenir la cellule de la batterie dans un &eacute;tat optimal et pour pr&eacute;venir les situations critiques en cas de surcharge.<br \/>\nLa s&eacute;rie R5486 est disponible dans un petit bo&icirc;tier de 1,4 x 1,4 x 0,4 mm. Ce bo&icirc;tier est pratique &agrave; implanter sur de petites cartes ou &agrave; int&eacute;grer dans des batteries lamin&eacute;e.<br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><\/span><a
