La mesure de petits signaux sensibles (photons ou &eacute;lectrons) dans une large plage dynamique est prise en charge par un r&eacute;seau de commutation de gain int&eacute;gr&eacute;. Gr&acirc;ce &agrave; la fonction de programmation embarqu&eacute;e dont dispose ce circuit, les concepteurs peuvent s&eacute;lectionner des composants de r&eacute;troaction externes optimis&eacute;s. Une seule et unique puce permet de transformer un signal de tension ou courant provenant d&rsquo;un capteur diff&eacute;rentiel ou asym&eacute;trique en une tension de sortie asym&eacute;trique ou diff&eacute;rentielle &agrave; faible bruit et haut d&eacute;bit.<br \/>\nDans les applications de mesures analytiques, il peut s&rsquo;av&eacute;rer n&eacute;cessaire de mesurer la lumi&egrave;re sur plusieurs d&eacute;cades d&rsquo;intensit&eacute;, ce qui requiert diff&eacute;rents r&eacute;seaux de commutation de gain int&eacute;grant souvent plusieurs commutateurs analogiques et amplificateurs externes, avec &agrave; la cl&eacute; une augmentation du risque d&rsquo;erreurs au niveau syst&egrave;me. Cet AFE int&egrave;gre des r&eacute;seaux de commutation et un amplificateur d&rsquo;entr&eacute;e pour minimiser les fuites et permettre au r&eacute;seau de commutation de s&eacute;lectionner jusqu&rsquo;&agrave; six r&eacute;seaux de contre-r&eacute;action configurables de l&rsquo;ext&eacute;rieur.\n<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Dans les syst&egrave;mes de test et mesure, l&rsquo;utilisateur doit maintenir une pr&eacute;cision de mesure &eacute;lev&eacute;e aux diff&eacute;rents niveaux de gain lorsque qu&rsquo;il r&egrave;gle la plage d&rsquo;entr&eacute;e de l&rsquo;instrument. Gr&acirc;ce &agrave; son amplificateur d&rsquo;entr&eacute;e haute imp&eacute;dance\/faible courant Ib et &agrave; son r&eacute;seau de commutation pilot&eacute; par un port s&eacute;rie, ce circuit AFE est particuli&egrave;rement bien adapt&eacute; pour mesurer une plage dynamique plus large.
