Ainsi, cet instrument est, actuellement, l&rsquo;un des seuls du march&eacute; &agrave; combiner, dans un unique bo&icirc;tier, un g&eacute;n&eacute;rateur bande de base ainsi qu&rsquo;un g&eacute;n&eacute;rateur RF, avec capacit&eacute;s de simuler Fading, AWGN et MIMO. De ce fait, il supporte de nombreuses applications dans les domaines de la communication et de l&rsquo;a&eacute;rospatiale et d&eacute;fense.<br \/>\nLa version 40 GHz couvre compl&egrave;tement les bandes K et Ka. Le g&eacute;n&eacute;rateur bande de base int&eacute;gr&eacute; offre une bande de modulation de 160 MHz avec une excellente plan&eacute;it&eacute; dans le canal et un EVM de haut niveau, rendant possible la g&eacute;n&eacute;ration de signaux des plus pr&eacute;cis dans les hyperfr&eacute;quences. De plus, il est simple de g&eacute;n&eacute;rer des signaux CW multi-porteuses pour les tests de composants ou de porteuses modul&eacute;es pour les tests de r&eacute;cepteurs satellite.<br \/>\nCe g&eacute;n&eacute;rateur aide aussi les d&eacute;veloppeurs &agrave; identifier des technologies potentielles pour les r&eacute;seaux de communication 5G. L&rsquo;option hyperfr&eacute;quence lui permet de couvrir les plages de fr&eacute;quences qui sont actuellement au c&oelig;ur des d&eacute;veloppements 5G. Sa partie bande de base interne peut traiter n&rsquo;importe quel standard de radiocommunication num&eacute;rique incluant les versions LTE de 8 &agrave; 11. La bande passante peut m&ecirc;me atteindre 2 GHz quand un signal externe I\/Q y est appliqu&eacute;, une caract&eacute;ristique bien adapt&eacute;e pour les applications 5G.\n<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Les applications de formation de faisceaux (beamforming) sont utilis&eacute;es pour mesurer les syst&egrave;mes &agrave; antenne active avec r&eacute;seaux &agrave; commande de phase. Ceci requiert des signaux de haute qualit&eacute; et coh&eacute;rents en phase. Le couplage de l&rsquo;oscillateur local du g&eacute;n&eacute;rateur autorise maintenant la construction d&rsquo;un syst&egrave;me compact avec jusqu&rsquo;&agrave; trois sorties coh&eacute;rentes jusqu&rsquo;&agrave; 40 GHz. Ce montage comprend, en plus, deux combinaisons de SGS100A avec SGU100A pour les sorties RF additionnelles et contr&ocirc;l&eacute;es par la m&ecirc;me interface graphique que le SMW.<br \/>\nPour les applications hyperfr&eacute;quence, cet instrument g&eacute;n&egrave;re d&eacute;sormais des signaux modul&eacute;s num&eacute;riquement de haute qualit&eacute; jusqu&rsquo;&agrave; 40 GHz. Si, par exemple, des voies 12.75 GHz et 6 GHz sont install&eacute;es dans un seul instrument, il est simple et rapide de conduire des tests de conformit&eacute; complexes sp&eacute;cifi&eacute;s par les standards de radiocommunication.
