Depuis trois ans, Thales travaille en étroite collaboration avec Northrop Grumman pour livrer un logiciel FMS modulaire, évolutif et aux capacités éprouvées, répondant aux exigences du programme UH-60V.
\nCe logiciel FMS a démontré son aptitude à être intégré aux équipements les plus récents de Northrop Grummann lors d’une démonstration en vol réalisée avec un UH-60L. En outre, il permet d’optimiser le poids et le coût de l’architecture de l’hélicoptère UH-60V, dans la mesure où il est directement intégré au système de calcul de Northrop Grummann et ne nécessite pas un hardware du FMS indépendant.
\nPlus de 750 hélicoptères devraient ainsi être modifiés dans le cadre du programme UH-60V. Northrop Grumman a également choisi Thales pour la fourniture du système GPS TOP Star 200.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
