Utilis&eacute; sur les tout derniers notebooks ultra-minces, il permet de lire et d&rsquo;&eacute;crire s&eacute;quentiellement &agrave; des vitesses de 1 600 m&eacute;gaoctets par seconde (Mo\/s) et de 1 350 Mo\/s respectivement sur PCIe 2.0. Ce niveau de performance est environ trois fois plus rapide que celui du tout dernier SSD avec une interface SATA et environ 30 % plus rapide que son pr&eacute;d&eacute;cesseur, le XP941. Par ailleurs, ses vitesses d&rsquo;&eacute;criture et de lecture al&eacute;atoires atteignent 130 000 et 85 000 IOPS (entr&eacute;es\/sorties &agrave; la seconde) respectivement.<br \/>\nPour les notebooks et les stations de travail ultra-minces souhaitant adopter l&rsquo;interface PCIe 3.0, ce disque peut lire et &eacute;crire s&eacute;quentiellement &agrave; 2 150 Mo\/s et 1 550 Mo\/s respectivement, ce qui permet de disposer d&rsquo;une performance de lecture s&eacute;quentielle quatre fois plus rapide qu&rsquo;avec les SSD SATA actuels. Avec une interface PCIe 3.0, le disque atteint une efficacit&eacute; &eacute;nerg&eacute;tique bien sup&eacute;rieure, n&eacute;cessitant environ 450 Mo\/s par watt seulement pour une lecture s&eacute;quentielle et 250 Mo\/s par watt pour une &eacute;criture s&eacute;quentielle, ce qui correspond &agrave; une am&eacute;lioration de plus de 50 % des performances par watt par rapport au SSD XP941.<br \/>\nC&rsquo;est aussi le premier SSD &agrave; adopter le mode veille L1.2 basse consommation qui permet l&rsquo;arr&ecirc;t de tous les circuits haute vitesse lorsqu&rsquo;un PC est en veille ou en hibernation, tel que d&eacute;fini par le PCI-SIG, l&rsquo;organisme de normalisation des normes PCIe. En renfor&ccedil;ant le niveau L1.2 du fonctionnement en veille, la consommation d&rsquo;&eacute;nergie de ce SSD est fortement r&eacute;duite, &agrave; moins de 2 mW, soit une baisse d&rsquo;environ 97 % par rapport &agrave; la consommation de 50 mW avec un &eacute;tat L1.\n<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Ce dispositif est fourni dans un facteur de forme M.2 de 80 x 22 mm, ce qui correspond &agrave; environ un septi&egrave;me de la taille d&rsquo;un SSD de 2,5 pouces, et ne p&egrave;se qu&rsquo;environ six grammes. La compacit&eacute; du disque convient &agrave; la plupart des conceptions de PC portables, lib&eacute;rant de l&rsquo;espace pour d&rsquo;autres composants, notamment la batterie.
