Cette solution permet de surmonter les faiblesses des autres offres disponibles, comme les capteurs pi&eacute;zo&eacute;lectriques. Contrairement aux autres solutions, les capteurs MLU de Crocus sont tr&egrave;s sensibles et disposent de capacit&eacute;s directionnelles. Cela signifie qu&rsquo;il suffit d&#8217;embarquer un tr&egrave;s petit nombre de capteurs MLU dans une feuille de capteurs de forme. Dans son prototype, Crocus utilise seulement 0,25 capteur par cm2, ce qui rend sa solution tr&egrave;s bon march&eacute;.<br \/>\nDe plus, les capteurs MLU de Crocus offrent d&rsquo;autres avantages, comme une faible consommation d&rsquo;&eacute;nergie et une grande vitesse de d&eacute;tection. Ils fournissent des signaux puissants sans composants actifs. Le prototype de 20cm de c&ocirc;t&eacute; de Crocus consomme moins de 10mA (milliamp&egrave;re) pendant son cycle de d&eacute;tection, qui dure moins d&rsquo;une microseconde.<br \/>\n&quot;&nbsp;Crocus a cr&eacute;&eacute; une nouvelle propri&eacute;t&eacute; intellectuelle sur la base des capteurs magn&eacute;tiques pour la d&eacute;tection de la position d&rsquo;une surface flexible.
