Son fonctionnement est bas&eacute; sur la technologie propri&eacute;taire brevet&eacute;e de mesure de position magn&eacute;tique planaire par effet Hall &eacute;prouv&eacute;e et d&eacute;j&agrave; adopt&eacute;e largement dans l&rsquo;industrie automobile et dans les march&eacute;s industriels, m&eacute;dicaux et grand public. Comme il effectue des mesures sans contacts, il ne souffre d&rsquo;aucun des probl&egrave;mes de fiabilit&eacute; auxquels les codeurs conventionnels sont confront&eacute;s. Il n&rsquo;est pas sujet aux interf&eacute;rences et aux pannes pr&eacute;matur&eacute;es caus&eacute;es par le stress m&eacute;canique et par la contamination &agrave; la poussi&egrave;re, la graisse, la salet&eacute; et l&rsquo;humidit&eacute;. Le circuit diff&eacute;rentiel robuste int&eacute;gr&eacute; rejette &eacute;galement les interf&eacute;rences dues aux parasites du champ magn&eacute;tique externe. <br \/>\nLe fonctionnement de ce codeur, y compris sa position z&eacute;ro, est facile &agrave; configurer puisque ses r&eacute;glages de registres sont accessibles via une interface I2C et sont sauvegard&eacute;s dans une m&eacute;moire OTP interne. De plus, la sortie en quadrature (A\/B) apporte une grande flexibilit&eacute; tout en offrant entre 8 et 2048 positions. Cette fonction de bouton-poussoir est immunis&eacute;e contre les variations de la force du champ magn&eacute;tique caus&eacute;es par les &eacute;carts de temp&eacute;rature ou le vieillissement du circuit.<br \/>\nPar d&eacute;faut, le capteur se met automatiquement dans l&rsquo;un des trois modes d&rsquo;&eacute;conomie d&rsquo;&eacute;nergie, r&eacute;duisant la consommation au minimum en diminuant la fr&eacute;quence scanner lorsque le composant a &eacute;t&eacute; inactif pendant un intervalle de temps donn&eacute;. En mode le plus &eacute;conome, il ne consomme que 1,5 mA.<br \/>\n&quot;L&rsquo;astucieuse conception de la circuiterie de traitement du signal de l&rsquo;AS5601 permet la d&eacute;livrance d&rsquo;une simple sortie en quadrature, famili&egrave;re pour n&rsquo;importe quel utilisateur de codeurs rotatifs.
