Le r&eacute;sonateur CMEMS interne fournit au circuit d&rsquo;horloge CMOS du dispositif une fr&eacute;quence de r&eacute;f&eacute;rence stable, &eacute;liminant le besoin d&rsquo;un encombrant cristal de quartz discret. Gr&acirc;ce &agrave; cette technologie, l&rsquo;horloge supporte les chocs et les vibrations. Elle b&eacute;n&eacute;ficie ainsi d&rsquo;une fiabilit&eacute; exceptionnelle et d&rsquo;une performance qui se maintient dans les conditions difficiles telles que les variations extr&ecirc;mes de temp&eacute;rature. Les produits portables d&rsquo;&eacute;lectronique grand public peuvent subir des chocs ou des chutes et, le fait d&rsquo;utiliser un g&eacute;n&eacute;rateur d&rsquo;horloge PCIe CMEMS robuste au lieu d&rsquo;une solution bas&eacute;e sur un cristal, &eacute;limine le risque d&rsquo;une d&eacute;faillance syst&egrave;me due &agrave; une cassure du r&eacute;sonateur &agrave; quartz.<br \/>\nPour r&eacute;duire le co&ucirc;t, la consommation, le nombre de composants du syst&egrave;me et simplifier la conception de la carte, ce g&eacute;n&eacute;rateur d&rsquo;horloge utilise un tampon de sortie basse consommation HCSL &agrave; technologie push-pull qui se passe de r&eacute;sistances de terminaison externes. En &eacute;liminant de nombreux composants, la technologie push-pull permet aux concepteurs de tracer une ligne de transmission sans discontinuit&eacute;s de la broche de sortie au r&eacute;cepteur, ce qui donne une meilleure int&eacute;grit&eacute; du signal. Elle r&eacute;duit la consommation de plus de 60% par rapport &agrave; la technologie classique &agrave; courant constant.<br \/>\nCette horloge fournit deux sorties HCSL diff&eacute;rentielles basse consommation de 100 MHz et une sortie LVCMOS de 25 MHz. Cette solution sans cristal n&rsquo;a donc pas besoin de source de fr&eacute;quence externe de 25 MHz. Cette combinaison de petite taille et d&rsquo;ultra basse consommation en fait une solution particuli&egrave;rement bien adapt&eacute;e pour les applications grand public et embarqu&eacute;es &agrave; contraintes d&rsquo;espace, portables et &agrave; batterie, qui adoptent le standard d&rsquo;interconnexion PCIe.
