En utilisant ce dispositif, les exploitants de plateformes du secteur des hydrocarbures peuvent prolonger la dur&eacute;e de vie de leurs &eacute;quipements, ainsi que r&eacute;duire les on&eacute;reux d&eacute;lais d&rsquo;immobilisation en veillant &agrave; ce que les trains de tiges fonctionnent correctement.<br \/>\nAliment&eacute; sous une tension unique de 5 V, ce gyroscope est, &agrave; ce jour, le seul gyroscope MEMS capable de fonctionner jusqu&rsquo;&agrave; 175 &deg;C pendant 1 000 heures minimum, mais &eacute;galement en basse temp&eacute;rature jusqu&rsquo;&agrave; de -40 &deg;C. Son bo&icirc;tier en c&eacute;ramique &agrave; montage vertical de 8 x 9 x 3 mm permet de le fixer solidement &agrave; la carte &eacute;lectronique, ce qui &eacute;vite de recourir &agrave; une carte-fille &agrave; montage orthogonal.<br \/>\nIl compl&egrave;te le portefeuille de composants de pr&eacute;cision haute temp&eacute;rature propri&eacute;taire pour les applications de forage, incluant un acc&eacute;l&eacute;rom&egrave;tre MEMS biaxial &plusmn;5 g haute pr&eacute;cision, un amplificateur d&rsquo;instrumentation ultra-faible bruit, une tension de r&eacute;f&eacute;rence bandgap 2,5 V et un amplificateur double avec sorties rail &agrave; rail. Tous ces composants sont sp&eacute;cifi&eacute;s pour des temp&eacute;ratures de 175 &deg;C et au-del&agrave;.<br \/>\nL&rsquo;industrie du forage de fond se dote actuellement d&rsquo;une multitude de capteurs pour mieux comprendre le d&eacute;placement des trains de tiges en sous-sol et ainsi optimiser les op&eacute;rations, &eacute;viter d&rsquo;endommager les &eacute;quipements de forage et augmenter la productivit&eacute;. D&rsquo;autres m&eacute;thodes de mesure des rotations, telles que l&rsquo;utilisation de magn&eacute;tom&egrave;tres, sont susceptibles de g&eacute;n&eacute;rer des vibrations et ne permettent pas de capter avec pr&eacute;cision des vitesses de rotation qui changent rapidement.
