Afin d&rsquo;assurer ce fonctionnement &agrave; faible intensit&eacute;, son diviseur &agrave; r&eacute;sistances s&eacute;ries de sous-tension et de surtension est connect&eacute; &agrave; la masse de mani&egrave;re &eacute;chantillonn&eacute;e, divisant l&rsquo;intensit&eacute; moyenne par 50. Ainsi, ce produit offre une solution durcie, compacte, de tr&egrave;s faible consommation pour l&rsquo;insertion &agrave; chaud et la protection de la batterie, sp&eacute;cialement dans les applications soucieuses d&rsquo;&eacute;conomie d&rsquo;&eacute;nergie qui utilisent l&rsquo;&eacute;nergie solaire ou la r&eacute;cup&eacute;ration d&rsquo;&eacute;nergie.<br \/>\nEn contr&ocirc;lant les MOSFET dos-&agrave;-dos, ce circuit r&eacute;siste et prot&egrave;ge aussi les circuits en aval contre l&rsquo;inversion de la tension de batterie jusqu&rsquo;&agrave; -40 V. Une protection contre les sous-tensions d&eacute;connecte les batteries lorsque la tension devient faible, pour emp&ecirc;cher une d&eacute;charge compl&egrave;te. En outre, le r&eacute;glage de l&rsquo;hyst&eacute;r&eacute;sis &eacute;vite les oscillations lors de la restauration de la batterie apr&egrave;s le retrait de la charge. Un double niveau de protection contre les surintensit&eacute;s est r&eacute;alis&eacute; par un circuit interrupteur temporis&eacute; et une limitation rapide du courant. La gamme de tensions de fonctionnement de 2,7 V &agrave; 36 V convient &agrave; une large gamme de batteries de diff&eacute;rentes compositions chimiques, incluant les &eacute;l&eacute;ments plomb, Li-ion et NiCd.<br \/>\nCe composant est pr&eacute;sent&eacute; en deux options, le LTC4231-1 qui reste bloqu&eacute; apr&egrave;s une surintensit&eacute;, et le LTC4231-2 qui tente un red&eacute;marrage automatique apr&egrave;s une p&eacute;riode de refroidissement de 500 ms.
