Ses commutateurs internes de 2,5 A par phase g&eacute;n&egrave;rent ensemble un courant de 5 A. Il est donc bien appropri&eacute; dans les syst&egrave;mes d&rsquo;alimentation de sauvegarde &agrave; supercondensateurs et les applications aliment&eacute;es par des batteries Li-ion\/polym&egrave;re ou &agrave; plusieurs &eacute;l&eacute;ments NiMH.<br \/>\nCe composant d&eacute;livre jusqu&rsquo;&agrave; 1,5 A de courant continu en sortie 12 V &agrave; partir d&rsquo;une tension d&rsquo;entr&eacute;e de 5 V. Le redressement synchrone autorise des rendements jusqu&rsquo;&agrave; 95% et le fonctionnement en Burst Mode r&eacute;duit la consommation au repos &agrave; seulement 25 &micro;A, ce qui augmente l&rsquo;autonomie sur batterie. La combinaison d&rsquo;un petit bo&icirc;tier DFN ou TSSOP et de la fr&eacute;quence de commutation jusqu&rsquo;&agrave; 3 MHz qui minimise la taille de l&rsquo;inductance et du condensateur, conduit &agrave; une solution d&rsquo;empreinte compacte requise par les applications portables.<br \/>\nCe circuit comprend des MOSFET internes, &agrave; RDS(on) de seulement 130 mohms en canal N et 200 mohms en canal P pour des rendements pouvant atteindre 95%. La d&eacute;connexion de la sortie permet la d&eacute;charge compl&egrave;te de la tension de sortie &agrave; l&rsquo;arr&ecirc;t. Une limitation des courants d&rsquo;appel au d&eacute;marrage r&eacute;duit les surintensit&eacute;s vues par l&rsquo;alimentation d&rsquo;entr&eacute;e. Ce composant r&eacute;gule aussi la tension de sortie quand la tension d&rsquo;entr&eacute;e d&eacute;passe celle de sortie, ce qui assure une compatibilit&eacute; avec toute sorte de batterie quelle que soit sa composition chimique. Pour les applications n&eacute;cessitant le niveau de bruit le plus bas possible, le circuit peut &ecirc;tre programm&eacute;, via une broche externe, pour fonctionner en mode continu pour tous les niveaux d&rsquo;intensit&eacute; afin de r&eacute;duire les interf&eacute;rences potentielles dues au bruit de commutation avec les circuits sensibles au bruit, ce qui r&eacute;duit un peu le rendement aux faibles charges.\n<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Les caract&eacute;ristiques suppl&eacute;mentaires comprennent une synchronisation externe, une protection contre les surtensions et une forte protection contre les courts-circuits. Ce convertisseur procure une solution particuli&egrave;rement bien adapt&eacute;e pour les applications en mode &eacute;l&eacute;vateur qui requi&egrave;rent des tensions de sortie jusqu&rsquo;&agrave; 15 V, pour lesquelles un haut rendement, une petite taille de mise en oeuvre et une grande fiabilit&eacute; sont des facteurs d&eacute;terminants.<br \/>\nLe LTC3124EDHC est propos&eacute; en bo&icirc;tier DFN 16 broches de 3 x 5 mm et le LTC3124EFE, bo&icirc;tier TSSOP-16, tous deux &agrave; performances thermiques renforc&eacute;es.
