Ainsi, les concepteurs de syst&egrave;mes ayant opt&eacute; pour des composants RX existants peuvent facilement adopter ces derni&egrave;res versions et ceux qui les choisissent d&rsquo;entr&eacute;e de jeu pour d&eacute;marrer leurs produits b&eacute;n&eacute;ficient d&rsquo;un ensemble d&rsquo;outils performants supportant &agrave; la fois le d&eacute;veloppement software et hardware. <br \/>\nL&rsquo;adoption d&rsquo;un proc&eacute;d&eacute; 40 nm &agrave; la pointe du progr&egrave;s accro&icirc;t non seulement les capacit&eacute;s de m&eacute;moire embarqu&eacute;e mais assure aussi une consommation encore plus faible pour de meilleurs performances CPU. Ainsi, ces MCU embarquent jusqu&rsquo;&agrave; 4 Mo de m&eacute;moire flash cadenc&eacute;e &agrave; 120 MHz et jusqu&rsquo;&agrave; 512 Ko de m&eacute;moire SRAM, mais ils r&eacute;duisent aussi la consommation d&rsquo;&eacute;nergie de 40% par rapport aux mod&egrave;les pr&eacute;c&eacute;dents. De plus, en adoptant l&rsquo;architecture bas&eacute;e sur le c&oelig;ur RXv2, ils atteignent une performance CPU de 504 Coremark, soit une hausse de 60% par rapport aux produits bas&eacute;s sur le c&oelig;ur RXv1. Ces composants d&eacute;finissent globalement un nouveau seuil de performances pour les syst&egrave;mes de MCU embarqu&eacute;s. De plus, affichant &agrave; la fois une meilleure performance temps r&eacute;el et une consommation r&eacute;duite, ils peuvent contribuer &agrave; r&eacute;duire les co&ucirc;ts en diminuant le besoin en m&eacute;moire externe.<br \/>\nCe groupe de MCU est dot&eacute; d&rsquo;un ensemble complet de fonctions de communication et b&eacute;n&eacute;ficie aussi de fonctions timer PWM. De plus, ces MCU sont intrins&egrave;quement compatibles gr&acirc;ce &agrave; l&rsquo;h&eacute;ritage de fonctions pr&eacute;sentes dans les pr&eacute;c&eacute;dentes g&eacute;n&eacute;rations. L&rsquo;adjonction de timers pour le contr&ocirc;le moteur et d&rsquo;une fonction Ethernet compatible avec la norme IEEE 1588, sp&eacute;cialement requise pour les applications industrielles, am&eacute;liore la synchronisation entre les syst&egrave;mes et fournit un support d&rsquo;une grande souplesse pour tous types de contr&ocirc;le moteur. En outre, dot&eacute;s d&rsquo;une grande quantit&eacute; d&rsquo;interfaces s&eacute;rie d&rsquo;usage g&eacute;n&eacute;ral, ces composants supportent aussi des fonctions de communication &agrave; haute vitesse telles que deux interfaces MAC Ethernet et deux interfaces USB (Device, Host ainsi que OTG), une interface h&ocirc;te SD et une interface QSPI. Ils incluent &eacute;galement une fonction d&rsquo;encodage pour augmenter la fiabilit&eacute; et la robustesse de ces fonctions de communication.<br \/>\nPour le d&eacute;marrage rapide du d&eacute;veloppement, ces microcontr&ocirc;leurs b&eacute;n&eacute;ficient du support d&rsquo;un compilateur et d&rsquo;un d&eacute;bogueur C, ainsi que d&rsquo;outils de d&eacute;veloppement tels que programmeur de flash, OS et middleware. Ils supportent &eacute;galement le Renesas Starter Kit (RSK) qui accompagne le d&eacute;bogueur sur puce E1 propri&eacute;taire bas&eacute; JTAG, facilitant l&rsquo;&eacute;valuation des composants et du d&eacute;veloppement syst&egrave;me, et le Renesas Software Package qui inclut des pilotes logiciels pour diverses fonctions p&eacute;riph&eacute;riques.
