Le taux est approximativement 14 % plus rapide que le record pr&eacute;c&eacute;dent et environ 2,5 fois plus rapide que les capacit&eacute;s de la technologie typique actuelle. <br \/>\nPour envoyer les donn&eacute;es &agrave; cette cadence, les chercheurs ont utilis&eacute; la modulation &agrave; la norme de non-retour &agrave; z&eacute;ro (NRZ).&nbsp;&quot;Certains pensaient que cette modulation ne permettrait pas des taux de transmission beaucoup plus rapide que 32 Gb\/s, et de nombreux chercheurs estiment que pour r&eacute;aliser des taux de transmission plus &eacute;lev&eacute;s, il faudra se tourner vers des types de modulation plus complexes, comme l&rsquo;impulsion de modulation d&rsquo;amplitude-4 (PAM-4). Ce que nous avons r&eacute;ussi prouve que ce n&rsquo;est pas du tout le cas et que la modulation NRZ a au moins une ou deux g&eacute;n&eacute;rations produit devant elle pour envoyer des donn&eacute;es sur de courtes distances et r&eacute;pondre aux besoins croissants des serveurs, centres de donn&eacute;es et superordinateurs. &quot; a d&eacute;clar&eacute; Dan Kuchta du TJ Watson Research Center d&rsquo;IBM &agrave; New York. <br \/>\nPour atteindre de telles vitesses, les chercheurs ont utilis&eacute; des lasers VCSEL d&eacute;velopp&eacute;s &agrave; l&rsquo;Universit&eacute; de technologie Chalmers en Su&egrave;de et des puces personnalis&eacute;es silicium-germanium d&eacute;velopp&eacute;s chez IBM Research.&nbsp;La puce du r&eacute;cepteur est de conception unique.
