Le fonctionnement en Burst Mode assure un tr&egrave;s faible courant de repos, ce qui convient aux applications comme les syst&egrave;mes &quot;toujours en fonctionnement&quot; de l&rsquo;automobile qui n&eacute;cessitent une dur&eacute;e d&rsquo;activit&eacute; accrue sur l&rsquo;autonomie de la batterie. La conception particuli&egrave;re de ce r&eacute;gulateur maintient une tension de d&eacute;chet minimum de seulement 250 mV &agrave; 3A dans toutes les conditions de fonctionnement, lui permettant de r&eacute;pondre &agrave; tous les sc&eacute;narios tel le d&eacute;marrage &agrave; froid des v&eacute;hicules. De plus, sa faible dur&eacute;e de conduction de seulement 40 ns autorise une fr&eacute;quence de commutation fixe de 2 MHz, de 16 V en entr&eacute;e &agrave; 1,5 V en sortie. Les concepteurs peuvent ainsi optimiser le rendement tout en &eacute;vitant les bandes de fr&eacute;quences critiques, sensibles au bruit. Le petit bo&icirc;tier QFN 28 broches, de 3 x 6 mm, et la fr&eacute;quence de commutation &eacute;lev&eacute;e du composant qui permet l&rsquo;emploi de condensateurs et d&rsquo;inductances externes de petite taille, conduisent &agrave; une empreinte compacte, de bon rendement thermique.<br \/>\nCe circuit utilise des commutateurs internes, haut et bas, au rendement &eacute;lev&eacute;, avec la diode &eacute;l&eacute;vatrice, l&rsquo;oscillateur, les circuits de contr&ocirc;le et de logique n&eacute;cessaires, le tout int&eacute;gr&eacute; sur une seule puce. Le fonctionnement en Burst Mode, &agrave; faible ondulation, maintient un rendement &eacute;lev&eacute; pour de faibles intensit&eacute;s de sortie tout en gardant l&rsquo;ondulation en dessous de 10 mV cr&ecirc;te&#8209;&agrave;&#8209;cr&ecirc;te. Des techniques de conception sp&eacute;ciales et un nouveau proc&eacute;d&eacute; tr&egrave;s rapide autorisent un fort rendement sur une large gamme de tensions d&rsquo;entr&eacute;e, et l&rsquo;architecture &agrave; mode intensit&eacute; assure une r&eacute;ponse rapide aux transitoires et une excellente stabilit&eacute; de boucle.
