Sa fr&eacute;quence de commutation est programmable par l&rsquo;utilisateur de 300 kHz &agrave; 4 MHz, autorisant l&#8217;emploi de petits condensateurs et inductances &agrave; co&ucirc;t r&eacute;duit.<br \/>\nIl utilise des transistors commutateurs internes, &agrave; r&eacute;sistances RDS(ON) de seulement 45 mohms et 70 mohms pour atteindre des rendements sup&eacute;rieurs &agrave; 90% dans les applications &agrave; fort rapport de conversion en mode abaisseur comme celles de 5 V en entr&eacute;e &agrave; 1,8 V en sortie. Le fonctionnement en Burst Mode est utilis&eacute; pour optimiser le rendement aux faibles charges car il ne consomme que 70 &micro;A &agrave; vide, ce qui convient aux applications n&eacute;cessitant un maximum d&rsquo;autonomie sur batterie. De plus, une mise &agrave; niveau r&eacute;glable du Burst Mode optimise le rendement en cas d&rsquo;une charge faible.<br \/>\nPour les applications requ&eacute;rant le niveau de bruit le plus bas possible, le r&eacute;gulateur peut &ecirc;tre configur&eacute; pour fonctionner en modes densit&eacute; variable d&rsquo;impulsions ou continu forc&eacute;, r&eacute;duisant le bruit et les interf&eacute;rences RF potentielles. Il pr&eacute;sente &eacute;galement des entr&eacute;es pour une possibilit&eacute; de suivi de tension ainsi qu&rsquo;un mode pour m&eacute;moire DDR qui peut g&eacute;n&eacute;rer ou consommer &plusmn;1,5 A. Les caract&eacute;ristiques compl&eacute;mentaires incluent un gestionnaire de la tension r&eacute;gul&eacute;e, la possibilit&eacute; d&rsquo;une synchronisation externe, une protection thermique et , en option, un ajustement actif de la tension.<br \/>\nLes versions haute fiabilit&eacute; de classe H sont garanties pour r&eacute;pondre aux sp&eacute;cifications sur la gamme de temp&eacute;ratures de jonction de -40 &deg;C &agrave; +150 &deg;C et les versions pour le militaire classe MP, de -55 &deg;C &agrave; +150 &deg;C.
