La gamme de tensions d&rsquo;entr&eacute;e est de 4,5 V &agrave; 15 V (16 V max.) pour une gamme de tensions de sortie de 0,6 V &agrave; 1,8 V. Un amplificateur de mesure de tension d&eacute;port&eacute;e interne garantit une r&eacute;gulation de la tension de sortie &agrave; &plusmn;1,5% sur les variations d&rsquo;entr&eacute;e, de charge, de temp&eacute;rature, par la mesure de la tension aux bornes de la charge, ce qui conduit &agrave; compenser les chutes de tension dues aux imp&eacute;dances des pistes du PCB. Le rendement pour 36 A, 1V en sortie, &agrave; partir de 12 V en entr&eacute;e, est de 86%, et, &agrave; partir de 5 V en entr&eacute;e, de 88%.<br \/>\nCe composant est con&ccedil;u pour fonctionner de -40 &deg;C &agrave; +125 &deg;C. Sans l&rsquo;ajout d&rsquo;un radiateur externe, la temp&eacute;rature ambiante atteint 60 &deg;C sans flux d&rsquo;air, 65 &deg;C avec un flux d&rsquo;air de 200 LFM, et 69 &deg;C avec un flux d&rsquo;air de 400LFM. Avec l&rsquo;ajout d&rsquo;un radiateur externe, la temp&eacute;rature ambiante maximum s&rsquo;accro&icirc;t approximativement de 10 &deg;C.<br \/>\nLa dissipation &eacute;lev&eacute;e de la chaleur, la possibilit&eacute; d&rsquo;une mise en parall&egrave;le et d&rsquo;une forte puissance de sortie cumul&eacute;es &agrave; la petite empreinte et le bo&icirc;tier de faible profil de ce composant permettent aux concepteurs de syst&egrave;mes de r&eacute;aliser des implantations de cartes plus denses. Les applications typiques comprennent les cartes mezzanines comme les syst&egrave;mes ATCA, &micro;TCA, la r&eacute;gulation des points de charge pour les microprocesseurs de derni&egrave;re g&eacute;n&eacute;ration, les ASIC et les FPGA &agrave; g&eacute;om&eacute;trie inf&eacute;rieure &agrave; 28 nm, aussi bien que les SERDES tr&egrave;s rapides.<br \/>\nSans avoir besoin de modifier l&rsquo;implantation de la carte de circuit imprim&eacute;, ces concepteurs peuvent interchanger les quatre r&eacute;gulateurs &micro;Module LTM4628 double 8 A, LTM4620 et LTM4620A double 13 A et le LTM4630 dont le brochage est compatible, pour obtenir diff&eacute;rents niveaux de puissance.<br \/>\nLes signaux des sorties fonctionnent en opposition de phase (180&deg;) afin de r&eacute;duire au minimum, &agrave; la fois l&rsquo;ondulation de la tension de sortie, lorsqu&rsquo;il y a partage du courant entre les sorties, et l&rsquo;ondulation de la tension d&rsquo;entr&eacute;e, conduisant &agrave; l&rsquo;emploi de moins de condensateurs et de plus petite taille. Ce composant poss&egrave;de aussi une protection rapide contre les courts-circuits o&ugrave; une technique par repliement de caract&eacute;ristique du courant r&eacute;duit au minimum l&rsquo;intensit&eacute; de sortie emp&ecirc;chant un &eacute;chauffement important du r&eacute;gulateur &micro;Module tout en prot&eacute;geant la charge ainsi que l&rsquo;alimentation en amont.
