Ce composant int&egrave;gre un amplificateur tampon pour l&rsquo;OL, avec un niveau de contr&ocirc;le de seulement 0dB d&rsquo;o&ugrave; une r&eacute;duction des circuits externes et des co&ucirc;ts. Le besoin d&rsquo;un fort signal de puissance de l&rsquo;OL &eacute;tant &eacute;limin&eacute; dans le r&eacute;cepteur, la source potentielle de radiations ind&eacute;sirables se trouvant fortement r&eacute;duite, cela simplifie les besoins en filtrage et blindage RF.<br \/>\nCe circuit offre &eacute;galement des performances en radio robustes, avec son point de compression &eacute;lev&eacute; de +18 dBm &agrave; 1 dB. Des transformateurs balun sont int&eacute;gr&eacute;s aux deux entr&eacute;es RF et de l&rsquo;oscillateur local (OL), r&eacute;duisant ainsi le co&ucirc;t et le nombre de composants externes, tout en simplifiant le travail de conception. Il est aliment&eacute; sur une tension unique de 3,3 V, consomme un courant de 204 mA, procurant des performances &eacute;lev&eacute;es avec une consommation exceptionnellement basse. Si n&eacute;cessaire, le m&eacute;langeur poss&egrave;de un mode basse puissance contr&ocirc;l&eacute; via la broche ISEL. Dans ce mode, la consommation en courant tombe de 30%, soit 142 mA, modifiant un peu la valeur de l&rsquo;IIP3 &agrave; +29,3dBm. D&rsquo;autre part, il peut &ecirc;tre arr&ecirc;t&eacute; via une broche de contr&ocirc;le de validation. Quand il est d&eacute;sactiv&eacute;, le circuit consomme un courant de veille de 100 &micro;A maximum. Les temps de mise en marche et d&rsquo;arr&ecirc;t sont de 500 ns, ce qui convient aux r&eacute;cepteurs en mode rafale.<br \/>\nEncapsul&eacute; dans un bo&icirc;tier QFN 16 broches, de 4 x 4 mm, et ne n&eacute;cessitant qu&rsquo;un nombre minimal de circuits externes, ce m&eacute;langeur offre une solution d&rsquo;empreinte tr&egrave;s compacte. Il est sp&eacute;cifi&eacute; pour fonctionner avec une temp&eacute;rature de bo&icirc;tier de -40 &deg;C &agrave; +105 &deg;C.
