Cette année, le défi pour Polyjoule est de construire un nouveau véhicule pour participer au Shell Eco Marathon, et pour la première fois dans la catégorie Urban Concept, face à d’autres voitures semblables à celles déjà en circulation et alimentées par des piles à combustible à hydrogène. Lors d’une première course d’essai qui s’est déroulée ce mois-ci, Polyjoule a établi un nouveau record du monde. On attend donc beaucoup de leur performance à Rotterdam. Daniel Dahan, Directeur régional des ventes pour la région Sud, déclare : " Cet événement est une opportunité incroyable. Nous espérons qu’il sera l’occasion d’impliquer davantage les étudiants et de développer leur intérêt pour l’ingénierie électrique. Le faible nombre d’étudiants qui choisissent de se spécialiser en ingénierie est décevant. Nous devons faire quelque chose dès aujourd’hui pour y remédier et continuer à soutenir ce secteur. "
\nPolyjoule est une association étudiante de l’École Polytechnique de l’Université de Nantes et du lycée Joliverie Saint Sébastien sur Loire qui regroupe trois domaines de spécialité : l’ingénierie électrique, l’informatique et la thermique énergétique. Le prototype du véhicule sera présenté au Shell Eco Marathon, une course automobile placée sous le signe de l’économie d’énergie.<\/strong> Chaque année, plus d’une centaine d’équipes venant d’écoles et d’universités du monde entier se rencontrent sur trois continents. Cette compétition unique rassemble environ 200 équipes et 3 000 étudiants européens qui s’affrontent dans une course à l’ultra efficacité énergétique sur la route. <\/p>\n
