L&rsquo;ensemble de ces caract&eacute;ristiques et le faible courant de repos en fonctionnement de 115 &micro;A \/ 70 &micro;A par r&eacute;gulateur et inf&eacute;rieur &agrave; 1&micro;A &agrave; l&rsquo;arr&ecirc;t par canal, rendent ce composant bien adapt&eacute; pour les syst&egrave;mes devant &ecirc;tre &quot;toujours actifs&quot; aliment&eacute;s sur batterie qui requi&egrave;rent une autonomie optimum, ainsi que pour les alimentations de circuits logiques ou des c&oelig;urs de microprocesseurs, les alimentations &agrave; possibilit&eacute; du suivi et d&rsquo;encha&icirc;nement de la tension et pour la conversion de tension d&rsquo;usage g&eacute;n&eacute;ral.<br \/>\nCe double r&eacute;gulateur fonctionne avec de tr&egrave;s petits condensateurs de sortie, &eacute;conomiques, &agrave; di&eacute;lectrique c&eacute;ramique, pour optimiser la stabilit&eacute; et la r&eacute;ponse aux transitoires. Ainsi, il est stable avec un condensateur c&eacute;ramique en sortie de seulement 10 &micro;F sur le canal 750 mA et un autre de 3,3 &micro;F sur le canal 250 mA. Les circuits de protection interne comprennent la protection contre les tensions de batterie inverses, l&rsquo;arr&ecirc;t du courant inverse de la sortie vers l&rsquo;entr&eacute;e, la limitation de l&rsquo;intensit&eacute; par repliement de caract&eacute;ristique et l&rsquo;arr&ecirc;t thermique. Ce dernier prot&egrave;ge les deux canaux en cas de surcharge ou de dysfonctionnement sur l&rsquo;un ou l&rsquo;autre canal.<br \/>\nCe composant est propos&eacute; en bo&icirc;tiers compacts TSSOP 20 broches, &agrave; performances thermiques renforc&eacute;es, et QFN 28 broches de 5 x 4 mm, qui pr&eacute;sentent tous deux des r&eacute;sistances thermiques &eacute;quivalentes &agrave; celles de bo&icirc;tiers conventionnels beaucoup plus grands.
