Ces composants int&egrave;grent une r&eacute;f&eacute;rence de tension &agrave; Zener 5 V et trois r&eacute;f&eacute;rences de tension &agrave; barri&egrave;re de potentiel de 2,5 V, &agrave; faible chute de tension. Ils couvrent une large gamme de caract&eacute;ristiques, incluant une d&eacute;rive de temp&eacute;rature de 2 ppm\/&deg;C &agrave; 20 ppm\/&deg;C, un fonctionnement de -40 &deg;C &agrave; +125 &deg;C et un faible niveau de bruit de fr&eacute;quence pouvant descendre jusqu&rsquo;&agrave; 0,25 ppm.<br \/>\nLes contraintes m&eacute;caniques exerc&eacute;es sur la puce interne d&rsquo;une r&eacute;f&eacute;rence de tension sont souvent &agrave; l&rsquo;origine d&rsquo;une modification de la tension de sortie. Le bo&icirc;tier LS8 utilis&eacute; permet d&rsquo;atteindre une stabilit&eacute; plus grande, en minimisant, de plusieurs fa&ccedil;ons, les contraintes m&eacute;caniques sur la puce.<br \/>\nEn premier lieu, le bo&icirc;tier herm&eacute;tique &eacute;limine les effets de l&rsquo;humidit&eacute;. Cette source d&rsquo;erreur importante et souvent m&eacute;connue est due &agrave; l&rsquo;absorption d&rsquo;eau dans les bo&icirc;tiers plastiques non herm&eacute;tiques. Typiquement, ces derniers peuvent conna&icirc;tre une erreur d&rsquo;au moins 150 ppm pour une variation de l&rsquo;humidit&eacute; relative de 25%.<br \/>\nEnsuite, le bo&icirc;tier LS8 pr&eacute;sente un contact direct minimal avec la puce, ce qui r&eacute;duit les contraintes provenant du bo&icirc;tier sur celle-ci. Par contraste, l&rsquo;encapsulation dans un bo&icirc;tier plastique contraint directement la puce en silicium dans le temps et en fonction de la temp&eacute;rature. Comme le silicium et le plastique ont des coefficients de dilatation thermique diff&eacute;rents, un cycle de changement de temp&eacute;rature exercera des contraintes in&eacute;lastiques &agrave; la puce. Le r&eacute;sultat en est une erreur r&eacute;siduelle, m&ecirc;me lorsque le composant revient &agrave; la temp&eacute;rature de 25 &deg;C. De m&ecirc;me, la modification de l&rsquo;erreur &agrave; long terme d&rsquo;un composant en grand bo&icirc;tier est due aux &eacute;volutions des caract&eacute;ristiques de ce bo&icirc;tier dans le temps.
