Son conditionnement SIP permet une implantation facile au sein d&rsquo;un noyau ferromagn&eacute;tique. Il est con&ccedil;u pour r&eacute;pondre aux besoins r&eacute;sultant de l&rsquo;utilisation croissante d&rsquo;&eacute;lectronique dans les applications automobiles, la conversion d&rsquo;&eacute;nergie renouvelable, solaire ou &eacute;olienne, les alimentations, les commandes moteur ou encore les syst&egrave;mes de protection contre les surcharges. Les applications typiques sont notamment la supervision de courant dans les convertisseurs d&rsquo;&eacute;nergie solaire et les convertisseurs automobiles servant &agrave; piloter le moteur de traction des v&eacute;hicules &eacute;lectriques ou hybrides. Pour cela, il est qualifi&eacute; automobile et d&eacute;tecte le courant en convertissant le champ magn&eacute;tique g&eacute;n&eacute;r&eacute; par les courants traversant un conducteur en tension programmable proportionnelle au champ magn&eacute;tique en question. Sa caract&eacute;ristique de transfert est enti&egrave;rement programmable par l&rsquo;utilisateur.<br \/>\nLes param&egrave;tres tels que la sensibilit&eacute; et l&rsquo;offset sont stock&eacute;s dans une m&eacute;moire EEPROM interne. L&rsquo;&eacute;talonnage se fait &agrave; l&rsquo;aide du protocole propri&eacute;taire PTC bien &eacute;tabli. Cette m&eacute;thode module la tension d&rsquo;alimentation et ne n&eacute;cessite aucune broche suppl&eacute;mentaire pour la programmation, ce qui est tr&egrave;s souple en production. Une sortie analogique lin&eacute;aire permet d&rsquo;utiliser le capteur pour les applications n&eacute;cessitant une r&eacute;ponse tr&egrave;s rapide de 3 &micro;s.<br \/>\nL&rsquo;&eacute;talonnage sp&eacute;cifique se fait sur site, apr&egrave;s le positionnement du composant par rapport au conducteur de courant et au noyau ferromagn&eacute;tique, pour obtenir la sensibilit&eacute; &agrave; un courant calibr&eacute;. La pr&eacute;cision typique d&rsquo;un syst&egrave;me de d&eacute;tection de courant bas&eacute; sur ce capteur est meilleure que &plusmn;0.5% &agrave; temp&eacute;rature ambiante, et &plusmn;2% sur toute la plage de temp&eacute;ratures de -40 &deg;C &agrave; +125 &deg;C, en effectuant en &eacute;talonnage en fin de ligne sur site.<br \/>\nCe circuit dispose d&rsquo;une gamme de sensibilit&eacute; programmable de 5 &agrave; 150 mV\/mT.
