Dans de tels syst&egrave;mes, un contr&ocirc;leur &agrave; priorit&eacute;s est une solution meilleure qu&rsquo;une simple diode-OU, particuli&egrave;rement quand la source choisie n&rsquo;est pas celle de tension la plus &eacute;lev&eacute;e. La commutation PowerPath est assur&eacute;e par des MOSFET canal P externes, reli&eacute;s entre eux deux par deux par leur source, avec une protection des portes &agrave; niveau de tension de 6 V. Le contr&ocirc;le de commutation rapide, con&ccedil;u avec soin, bloque les courants inverses et de recouvrement, tout en emp&ecirc;chant la tension de sortie de chuter. Une faible intensit&eacute; de fonctionnement de 28 &micro;A, une consommation en veille inf&eacute;rieure &agrave; 1 &micro;A, et un mode arr&ecirc;t rendent ce circuit bien adapt&eacute; aux syst&egrave;mes de sauvegarde aliment&eacute;s sur batterie. Sa large gamme de tensions de fonctionnement convient &agrave; une gamme &eacute;tendue de sources d&rsquo;alimentation comme les prises murales, USB, firewire, les supercondensateurs et batteries d&rsquo;accumulateurs acide-plomb, Li-ion et NiCd. Une mise en &oelig;uvre en cascade int&eacute;gr&eacute;e permet d&rsquo;&eacute;tendre le choix prioritaire au-del&agrave; de trois alimentations. Dans le but de minimiser les courants d&rsquo;appel en entr&eacute;e lors du d&eacute;marrage, la premi&egrave;re connexion est &agrave; d&eacute;marrage progressif. Les sorties &quot;drain ouvert&quot; indiquent les alimentations qui sont dans leur fen&ecirc;tre de tensions d&eacute;finies.
