Il emploie un MOSFET canal N externe et peut contr&ocirc;ler jusqu&rsquo;&agrave; quinze DEL blanches de 1 A &agrave; partir d&rsquo;une tension d&rsquo;entr&eacute;e nominale de 12 V, g&eacute;n&eacute;rant une puissance jusqu&rsquo;&agrave; 50 W. Il peut conduire &agrave; des rendements sup&eacute;rieurs &agrave; 94% en mode &eacute;l&eacute;vateur, &eacute;vitant l&rsquo;emploi d&rsquo;un radiateur externe. Une broche de r&eacute;glage permet &agrave; l&rsquo;utilisateur de programmer la fr&eacute;quence entre 100 kHz et 1 MHz, ce qui optimise le rendement tout en minimisant la taille et le co&ucirc;t des composants externes. Ce r&eacute;gulateur poss&egrave;de &eacute;galement un g&eacute;n&eacute;rateur interne PWM qui procure des rapports de luminosit&eacute; aussi importants que 1 &agrave; 50, ou il peut utiliser un signal PWM externe, procurant des rapports jusqu&rsquo;&agrave; 1 &agrave; 3000. Pour des demandes moindres en variation de luminosit&eacute;, la broche de contr&ocirc;le CTRL peut fournir une gamme de variation de luminosit&eacute; analogique de 1 &agrave; 10. L&rsquo;architecture &agrave; fr&eacute;quence fixe et &agrave; mode courant assure un fonctionnement stable sur la large gamme des tensions d&rsquo;alimentation et de sortie. Une protection contre les courts-circuits en sortie et une autre en cas de LED en circuit ouvert augmentent la fiabilit&eacute; du syst&egrave;me.
