Il permet aux concepteurs de syst&egrave;mes d&rsquo;ajouter des capacit&eacute;s NFC totalement bidirectionnelles d&rsquo;une mani&egrave;re bien plus &eacute;conomique qu&rsquo;une impl&eacute;mentation de lecteur NFC typique, qui requiert parfois jusqu&rsquo;&agrave; 20 composants externes suppl&eacute;mentaires. Cette interface est totalement conforme aux sp&eacute;cifications du NFC Forum (objectif NFCIP-1 &agrave; 106 kbps) et au standard industriel ISO14443A, jusqu&rsquo;&agrave; 848 kbps au niveau 4. Elle peut donc &ecirc;tre utilis&eacute;e dans des cartes &agrave; puce sans contact et comme &eacute;tiquette-interface compatible NFC Forum. Elle peut &eacute;galement &eacute;tablir une communication instantan&eacute;e avec n&rsquo;importe quel t&eacute;l&eacute;phone portable NFC tr&egrave;s proche, &agrave; moins de 10 cm.<br \/>\nCe circuit s&rsquo;int&egrave;gre &agrave; de nombreuses applications, y compris la programmation passive sans contact de syst&egrave;mes bas&eacute;s sur des microcontr&ocirc;leurs, les cartes &agrave; puce avec afficheurs, les &eacute;tiquettes intelligentes, les capteurs, les syst&egrave;mes de traitement de donn&eacute;es tr&egrave;s faible consommation, les appareils m&eacute;dicaux et l&rsquo;appairage Bluetooth NFC s&eacute;curis&eacute;. Il peut &eacute;galement permettre de nouvelles approches en conceptions de syst&egrave;mes en utilisant, pour des appareils normalement autonomes, un smartphone &agrave; capacit&eacute; NFC comme h&ocirc;te d&rsquo;affichage et contr&ocirc;leur de syst&egrave;me, &eacute;liminant ainsi la n&eacute;cessit&eacute; pour le produit esclave d&rsquo;avoir son propre afficheur et son propre processeur. Le composant poss&egrave;de une fonction d&rsquo;interruption du r&eacute;veil configurable qui assure une consommation z&eacute;ro lorsqu&rsquo;un syst&egrave;me est &eacute;teint. Il comprend aussi un Front end analogique, 1 ko d&rsquo;EEPROM interne et une SPI &agrave; 4 fils avec une m&eacute;moire FIFO de 32 octets. De plus, il est capable de r&eacute;cup&eacute;rer jusqu&rsquo;&agrave; 5 mA d&rsquo;&eacute;nergie du champ magn&eacute;tique externe et int&egrave;gre un circuit interne de gestion de puissance qui peut fournir cette &eacute;nergie &agrave; l&rsquo;application. Il est donc bien adapt&eacute; pour les appareils portables aliment&eacute;s par batteries et bas&eacute;s sur microcontr&ocirc;leurs.<br \/>\nRene Wutte, Directeur Marketing chez AMS, assure &ldquo;L&rsquo;AS3953 est l&rsquo;instigateur d&rsquo;une nouvelle g&eacute;n&eacute;ration d&rsquo;applications NFC. Il permet d&rsquo;acc&eacute;der &agrave; la fonctionnalit&eacute; NFC pour seulement une fraction du co&ucirc;t d&rsquo;un lecteur complet NFC, sans compliquer d&rsquo;autant la conception. C&rsquo;est, &agrave; l&rsquo;heure actuelle, le moyen le plus simple et le plus abordable d&rsquo;obtenir une communication entre une application et un t&eacute;l&eacute;phone portable.&rdquo;<br \/>\nBas&eacute; sur cette NFiC, un design de r&eacute;f&eacute;rence a &eacute;galement &eacute;t&eacute; d&eacute;velopp&eacute; en collaboration avec Epson pour offrir une solution totalement passive destin&eacute;e aux &eacute;tiquettes de prix et cartes &agrave; puce. Elle associe &agrave; l&rsquo;interface un microcontr&ocirc;leur Epson S1C17F57 int&eacute;grant un driver pour les afficheurs e-paper 64 canaux.<br \/>\nSelon Manfred Wittmeir, Directeur du d&eacute;partement circuits int&eacute;gr&eacute;s chez Epson Europe Electronics, &ldquo;Epson poss&egrave;de d&eacute;j&agrave; une longue histoire dans la fourniture de semiconducteurs &eacute;conomes en &eacute;nergie destin&eacute;s &agrave; des produits aliment&eacute;s par batteries. L&rsquo;AS3953 nous permet, pour la premi&egrave;re fois, de fabriquer une solution totalement passive sans avoir &agrave; ajouter une alimentation auxiliaire telle une batterie, tout en impl&eacute;mentant une interface NFC standard permettant l&rsquo;&eacute;change de donn&eacute;es avec notre microcontr&ocirc;leur.
