Gr&acirc;ce &agrave; leur conception &laquo;ferm&eacute;e &raquo; compacte, elles pr&eacute;sentent un champ de fuite r&eacute;duit ne perturbant pas les autres &eacute;l&eacute;ments du convertisseur par des effets &eacute;lectromagn&eacute;tiques. Elles se caract&eacute;risent par l&rsquo;absence d&rsquo;entretien et une longue dur&eacute;e de vie, atouts importants compte tenu du co&ucirc;t &eacute;lev&eacute; de l&rsquo;entretien des &eacute;oliennes. Pour les applications maritimes, elles sont propos&eacute;es dans la classe de protection IP66 autorisant leur montage en dehors des convertisseurs ce qui les lib&egrave;re de la chaleur g&eacute;n&eacute;r&eacute;e par le filtre. La temp&eacute;rature int&eacute;rieure du convertisseur &eacute;tant plus faible, l&rsquo;&eacute;vacuation de la chaleur par des ventilateurs devient superflue, conduisant ainsi &nbsp;une &eacute;conomie d&rsquo;&eacute;nergie.<br \/>\nOutre les convertisseurs d&rsquo;&eacute;oliennes, ces composants inductifs sont &eacute;galement utilis&eacute;s dans les onduleurs d&rsquo;installations photovolta&iuml;ques, dans des applications ferroviaires et m&eacute;dicales ainsi que dans les syst&egrave;mes d&rsquo;entra&icirc;nement et de l&rsquo;&eacute;lectronique de puissance. Ces bobines peuvent &ecirc;tre r&eacute;alis&eacute;es pour des fr&eacute;quences allant jusqu&rsquo;&agrave; 200 kHz et des courants jusqu&rsquo;&agrave; 1&nbsp;000 A. Elles sont propos&eacute;es dans des tailles comprises entre 36 mm et 300 mm de diam&egrave;tre, leur poids pouvant aller de 50 g &agrave; 130 kg. Les classes de protection disponibles vont de IP00 &agrave; IP66 selon les applications.
